Kumon Math and Reading Center of West Bloomfield

All 3 of my children have attended Kumon for math. They all achieved high marks in math class as well as state exams. They we're all more confident in their math abilities and we are very satisfied with the program. We would highly recommend Kumon!

I immediately enrolled my 4 year old daughter last year in Kumon after pandemic/shutdown. It's one of the best decisions that I've made so far in her education. Ms. Usha –– who is the head charge of this location is wonderful. She is extremely accommodating to her students and their parents--and does so with grace as we have all had our lives shift over the past year. I feel confident that the lessons my daughter has taken through Kumon will prepare her for when she enters kindergarten this Fall '21. The rest of the staff is also wonderful. Everyone is patient, professional, and give special attention/updates in and outside of classroom hours. I truly appreciate the time that Ms. Usha takes our of her day to explain my daughters curriculum to me further. I plan on continuing Kumon as an added supplement if necessary in the Fall. I highly recommend this location. Not only will your child learn and build new skills and problem solving--it's such a treat watching the grow and get smarter, and smarter each day as a result of Kumon.

Our son has attended Kumon of West Bloomfield for more than 4 years now. We have been very pleased with how well the Kumon program has worked for him. We have seen great improvement in his reading & math skills, and especially his ability to focus. Mrs. Mittal and her staff run a very professional center, and I have watched them interact with dozens of students and parents - they know everyone and are able to help each kid as issues arise, with a kind and upbeat attitude. I am a great believer in the Kumon program overall, and I am extremely glad to have access to such a wonderful center. When everything shut down in March, Mrs. Mittal quickly got a game plan in place to have get everyone their lessons, and to have weekly one-on-one sessions online with the students. Mrs. Mittal has also been available as needed for questions or concerns. It has been a big relief during these crazy times, that no matter what else is going on, our son is making steady progress in math and reading. I asked him what he liked about Kumon, and he said, "It’s very good, and I like when I learn how to do something new."

I enrolled both my children(1st grader and PreK) last August with Kumon. In the last 10 months, I have seen significant advancements in their reading and writing skills. My son(PreK) is showing interest to read Harry Potter and 1st grade school materials. My daughter(1st grade) has developed her math facts and concepts with the consistent practice provided by Kumon lessons. My children look forward to their meetings with Mrs. Usha Mittal, Director at our Kumon Center. She has motivated and positively challenged my children. We found her accessible, and is extremely dedicated and focused for the individual development of the children. I highly recommend Kumon for developing strong foundations.

Due to the pandemic, I pulled out my 4-year old son from preschool and enrolled him in the Kumon of West Bloomfield instead. It has only been 4 months into the program and my son is excelling beyond our expectation in both math and reading. The goal was to get him ready for Kindergarten and he is already moving on a much faster trajectory. Seeing these results, I immediately enrolled my 7 year old as well. I not only recommend the Kumon program but I really recommend the Kumon Center at West Bloomfield managed by Mrs. Usha Mittal. Mrs. Mittal is very professional, knowledgeable, dedicated and supportive... She's a true educator! Enrolling in Kumon of West Bloomfield was the best decision I made for my kid's education! Thank you Mrs. Mittal for equipping our kids with the knowledge and skills that will help them succeed in their future endeavors...

I’m extremely happy with the KUMON Math program. Kids learn math the best way possible - from the basics up. Having strong foundations is critical in succeeding in math. Kumon program teaches not only math facts but most of all introduces kids at a young age to self discipline and shows them the real power of positive attitude. It’s amazing to watch my kids build their self esteem after completing another level of the program and getting ahead of their peers with the curriculum. The proud look in my kids’ eyes when they start to master math facts is priceless. They feel strong and confident in what they’re doing. Kumon as a program is extremely valuable as it builds up both math skills and the student’s character. And last but not least, Kumon of West Bloomfield is very lucky to have Mrs.Mittal - the kind of teacher who is always there to keep her students motivated, goal-oriented and feeling proud of themselves. That’s something that will stay with them forever and will help them succeed in life!

The service at Kumon has been top notch. My kids have made huge improvements and strides!! Can’t thank Kumon enough and we are excited to keep working hard and making more strides!
