True Martial Arts

A wonderfully professional martial arts school offering excellent Ashihara karate and JuiJitsu classes. Instructors take the effort to provide crucial advice and support for students to stay focused and consistent in reaching their goals. Our children have gained an incredible amount of personal, developmental and physical benefits from attending classes at True.

TRUE Martial Arts is awesome! We are incredibly pleased with their children’s programs. My son has learned a lot of great karate techniques, but just as important, he has developed and improved character traits he’ll use for life such as self-discipline, perseverance, and focus. The instructors are phenomenal- talented, patient, motivating, and fun! We’re really glad to have found TRUE Martial Arts.

I'm currently enrolled in the adult programs here, and everyone is very welcoming and supportive. The instructors clearly have a strong grasp of the material and actively participate alongside us in class. I really appreciate having the flexibility to take different classes. I also like the flexibility of taking different classes.

This is the first martial arts gym I’ve been a part of. It had always seemed really intimidating, but the staff and community at True has made me feel super welcome. I needed a hobby and new way to stay fit as I get older and True has been amazing!

True is a great place for martial arts. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. The vibe is friendly; we are all training together to help each other improve. The instruction and subject matter covers both sportive martial arts and self-defense. As a police officer, I have successfully applied concepts and techniques taught at True to real-life situations.

I love True! The best place for my whole family. Their instructors are so dedicated. They have programs for everyone, and we all love learning with the kind and committed teachers here. I love the self defense class myself, it makes me feel powerful. Even on the days we "don’t feel like going" but show up anyway, we never regret it- there’s always something to learn. It makes me feel great to be part of this community.

The staff and instructors are amazing! The way they organize the program allows each kid to grow at their own pace. They take the time to get to know each kid on a personal level and really help them focus on areas they struggle. The included online classes allow kids to keep up on things they learn in class, which helps them progress to the next level. The program is great in that you can pick which days you want to come on a day by day basis, so it’s flexible to your schedule. I cannot recommend this place enough if you want your kid to enjoy karate and also grow on a personal level.
