Stanford University

One of the top universities in the world and in the Ivy League university of the United States. It has a very distinct architecture that attracts a lot of visitors from around the globe. The campus is quite large and very pleasant to walk around on a weekend. There are plenty of tourist in the area along with the students as well. Plenty of historical significance of the buildings and signage around the area. There are many pictures spots in the campus. A nice place to visit.

Spanning over 8,000+ acres with lush green grounds, tall palm trees ( Palm Drive), old trees, Arizona Garden and beautiful Oval, Stanford University was founded in 1885. It is one of the best university in USA.particularly renowned for engineering,medicine and business.Has close collaborations with high tech multinationals located in silicon valley.Most of the buildings are on distinct spanish architecture, with red brick roofs. We started with Visitor center and walked through Main Quad, Memorial church,Hoover tower,Cantor Arts Centre,Montague hall,etc.Has sports grounds, including Lagunita Court, Admn Offices, students' union office, Alumni center and the students residences. Fee structure is very high, beyond reachof the lower middle class/ foreign students. Wish the Visitors Center is open , (even with one or two persons), on weekend for the visitors' guidance.Currently, it is enjoying many many holidays, including weekends. Must visit whenever in Palo Alto or nearby in the silicon valley, California.

Such a beautiful campus, with many places to explore and walk around! The Stanford Oval is spectacular, with views of the main square, church, and roses forming the famous "S". We walked around the main square and Memorial Church, with were both pretty and amazing. The campus is very well kept, and there are many sculptures scattered around. Overall an amazing place to walk, explore, and attend for university!

A top prestigious university with a beautiful, spotless campus — truly vast and breathtaking. It's such a dream; I might never have the chance to study at a place like this in my lifetime❤️

I live close to Stanford University , very eye opening to see and experience it. It would be great if they could give access to their libraries for public for a limited number of hours on a weekly basis to be able to use their books
