Yu's Academy Martial Arts and Family Fitness Center LLC

I have been a member here for over two years now and I've never regretted it. From the moment you walk in, the black belts and instructors are committed to helping you love martial arts as much as they do. I've gained not just friends, but confidence in both how I move and how I conduct myself overall. I've seen this same change in the kids I've worked with. I credit my passion for taekwondo to Master Instructor Sims, who also works INCREDIBLY hard to keep the gears turning here. We all appreciate his endeavors both on and off the mat!

Tonight my nephew had a ceremony for the accomplishment of his green belt. If you want your children to have more discipline and more stable this is a great activity to put them in. The instructor Mr. Yu is a very notable instructor whom care deeply for the child he teaches and helps them achieve the knowledge of martial arts.

We love Yu’s! We’ve had kids in the academy for over a year now and I have nothing but great things to say. It is a positive environment for kids and adults to not only learn martial arts skills, but also how to treat others with respect. We so appreciate Master Sims and all the instructors- for their time and kindness and attentiveness to our boys. They always have fun and feel challenged and encouraged. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I highly recommend Yu’s Academy for anyone interested in martial arts! Master Sims and the rest of the instructors are knowledgeable, passionate, and truly care about the students. Everyone works really well together and it has started to feel like a second home. My son is so happy and it has been great for not only his martial arts skills and physical fitness, but also his social, emotional, and mental maturity. He has learned about the importance of reading, how to deal with bullies, how to work well with others, what it means to be respectful and disciplined, and there are always opportunities for leadership. I have seen him grow so much since starting at Yu’s and I’m excited to watch him continue to grow!.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I absolutely love Yu’s academy. A truly great place to take your kids. I have been bringing my daughter and son here for over a year and they absolutely love it. My son is a very distracted little guy but the instructors are wonderful and patient with him. Not only just learning self defense, but just as important, respect and discipline. Can’t express how much we absolutely love and appreciate the wonderful experience my kids are having here.

My kids love it here! We have been attending classes for well over a year now. It has helped to instill confidence, self discipline and boost their self esteem. I believe Master Sims has been a great role mode. This is a great place for children of all ages to fit in and learn something new.
