Kumon Math and Reading Center of Farmington Hills

My daughter has been attending Kumon since 1st grade, and we’ve had a wonderful journey from the start. She began under Ms. Chen’s leadership and recently transitioned to working with Ms. Liz, who has been nothing short of amazing. We loved it so much my son joined as a preschooler. Ms. Liz is incredibly personable, supportive, and understanding. She always greets us with a warm smile and truly makes us feel welcome and valued. You can see her positive influence reflected in the entire staff—their kindness, professionalism, and dedication are a direct result of her strong leadership and moral compass. As a busy parent juggling a lot, Kumon is one thing on my list that feels less stressful, thanks to Ms. Liz and her phenomenal team. Their consistency and care have made a big difference in my children's growth and our experience overall. Highly recommend this center!

This was my best experience of learning and I had a fun adventure. I suggest all kids to go here to learn.

My five- and nine-year-old children both attend the Kumon center in Farmington for math and reading, having started in November 2022. I have seen tremendous growth in their skills, confidence, and excitement for learning. Kumon has greatly benefited our family and made schoolwork less frustrating. The staff are very friendly and helpful; they collaborate with both parents and children to set clear expectations. They listen and provide recommendations tailored to my kids' different learning styles. I highly recommend Kumon!

We have been registered at this center since 2017, amazing staff and teachers to help mentor the kids. Flexibility even during COVID with remote tutor availability. Despite switching to in person, we get extended support with remote tutoring options as we do not live close to the center making it difficult to make the weekly commute. Very encouraging atmosphere for children as they are motivated and rewarded with stickers upon turning in work and can pick a gift once they turn in the sticker charts. Timely rewards and recognition as milestones are achieved, certificates/medals/honor roll etc. flexibility in adjusting workload based on student needs is an added advantage.

Liz the owner is very nice and helpful! Runs a great Kumon Center and keeps it very structured! She was a teacher previously so she knows what it takes to get children on target in their academics! ALL the staff is nice and helpful as well!! 🙏🏽

My daughter is 4 yrs old and has started kumon recently and it’s been 3 months and she is doing good. It has already became one of the day to day activities for her. I would definitely recommend this place, the instructors and everyone there are welcoming and friendly which made her feel Comfortable.

We are so happy with this center ever since Liz took over!. It’s more organized, and parent friendly. She listens to our concerns and goes above and beyond to help the kids.
