International Academy

I called this place 5/6 times, asking about designs, and requested information before hand to see if anyone was able to do them, or able to do my nails in a timely fashion. I got there at 6:18 pm, and after 3/4 hours (they close at 10) all I managed to get done was what is seen in the photos. The nails in the photos are crooked and not the same length. The girl was new so I was fine with it, and I should’ve asked for them taken off. As I was leaving they charged me $18 for them. I was in disbelief, because then I was also told I was "moving" (I had one hand still and the other holding my phone/texting, and even If i was I feel like the tech would’ve said something). I won’t be coming back personally due to my wait, and how I never got upfront answers, but it’s a good school for beginner techs. (To answer there comment; I changed what I wanted several times; at one point asking the nail tech to do whatever she was capable of; so I could have something/anything done, [I should've just asked her to paint my nails], I was also not aware of the capabilities/time constraints and I just wanted a upfront answer of what they could do in the given time. I originally asked for intricate art work, but when the nail tech told me, she wasn't able to do it, I changed my request for her.

I came in as a model for my friend, Adriana. I had a wash, cut and blown out styling. Adriana did a fantastic job, as well as me being her first ever "real person" hair cut! She has such talent and ability, she will go far in this line of work. Thank you!!! Sheila

I had a wonderful experience with Aneta. She assessed the best ingredients to use on my stubborn Grey hair. She was very friendly& caring, she even got me a cup of tea. I just love the results!

I had a wonderful experience at International Academy! I brought in my own 18" microbead human hair extensions, and Nikki did an amazing job installing them. Her placement was flawless—she clearly has real talent and experience with extensions. Due to time constraints, I came back another day for a color match, and Q absolutely nailed it! The end result looks seamless and so natural. I’m beyond impressed and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend Nikki and the team!

Everything about this place is amazing! Maria, the receptionist is helpful and sweet. The instructors Nikki is awesome when helping out the students in my hairstylist Miranda did my hair perfectly!

Today I had a full day of beauty and it was fantastic. Nikkie did my facial and mani pedi which I totally enjoyed. Her instructor Michele was so helpful when we hit a snag on my manicure. I also want to mention Ashley who took special attention taking care of my full body salt scrub. It was so fun and relaxing. I can’t say enough great things about this school and their instructors

I love that the school offers a student salon so that they get real practice. What is not convenient is that the hours posted for the salon are incorrect. Every time I go to get a service done in the morning, they are in class. Which makes perfect sense (when else would they do class) but change the hours so people aren’t taking time out of their day for nothing.
