Sioux City Community School District

The heavy set lady if very rude and unprofessional. I wish we had an option to speak with someone else or get an assistant that is more friendly with the people that come in. It is not our fault you are over worked and behind. Wish I could do all the registration online.

Not to say there arent great teachers, staff and even schools in general but Sioux City community school district does not care about their students or families and their well being AT ALL. Rude stuck up, poor communication. Ugh.

District Does NOT enforce the use of respect from teachers towards kids. They just expect our kids to respect school staff. Tell your kid to defend him self from a teacher that just insulted him and see how it goes. Bully prevention" does not work, they're pressing charges on kids involved in fights when they were not the Bully who started all. Ask and they won't tell you how many kids get criminal charges every year just for being part of the problem when trying to defend themselves or someone else.. Only 11 days or so of Christmas Vacation, Kids need more time off from school, specially during winter. School days are too long.

Good school area some teachers don't know what they are doing at all but most do good place generally

The teachers admit to how cheap and secretive the school board is and there was a time where my friend did something stupid that was meant to be a joke but the teacher asked her to come to her classroom for recess, whatever, but then the teacher started yelling at her saying that she had no friends and that nobody liked her and other phrases like that

The central campus is wonderful and modern. I hope that the rest of the district high schools can get an update.

This school district specifically north high school does not care if students are bullied.
