I’m extremely pleased with the karate classes at Tiger Rock for my kids. The flexibility in scheduling is a huge advantage, allowing us to attend classes consistently every week. The instructors are dedicated and skilled, ensuring each session is not only educational but also engaging for the children. It’s evident that the money invested in these classes is well spent, contributing significantly to my kids’ physical fitness and discipline. I can’t recommend Tiger Rock highly enough! We’ve tried a few different martial arts studios over the years, but this one is truly in a league of its own. The studio is beautiful - spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of comfortable seating for parents. The instructors are absolutely top-notch. Their passion for teaching and their genuine care for the students shine through in every class. They know how to make lessons both fun and engaging, and they consistently offer exciting events, programs, and camps that kids look forward to. On a personal note, this studio has made an extraordinary difference in our lives. My grandson has several disorders that prevent him from attending public school. At a time when private lessons weren’t even part of their offerings, Tiger Rock made an exception so he could participate in martial arts. Over the course of three years, with their incredible support and encouragement, he has progressed from private instruction to joining regular group classes - a feat we once thought impossible. He still can’t attend public school, but he can attend Tiger Rock classes. That says everything. They have been nothing short of miracle workers for our family.

My son absolutely loves going to Tiger Rock. In the short time that he has been part of the program we’ve seen his confidence grow tremendously. The instructors are very good at connecting with the kids. They keep them engaged and encourage them to try their best during each session.

This is a wonderful place. My son just loves going there. Apart from teaching martial arts, the coaches try to instill good sense, respect for others and discipline. The studio is spacious and clean. The belt ceremony is unlike any other. A red carpet is spread out for the belt winners to walk on and receive their belt. Throughout the year they organize special events like inviting a grandmaster .The coaches are so encouraging and motivating that my wife also started learning martial arts. All in all clean and spacious studio encouraging and highly motivated yet empathetic coaches red carpet for the belt winners. 10 stars out of 5.

Our family loves Tiger Rock in Sandy! The instructors have always been completely supportive to our daughter. They meet her where she is through compassion and gentle-but-firm encouragement, and they also challenge her to achieve her goals and new heights. Our daughter feels welcome and comfortable at Tiger Rock with both the staff and fellow students; the environment is one of mutual respect and recognition. Tiger Rock has increased her confidence, responsibility, dedication, self-awareness, and physical ability.

We started with Tiger Rock shortly after they opened when the Cubs classes had only 1-2 students per class. From the very beginning Mr. and Mrs. Cantwell were professional, yet fun and taught amazing things to our 4 year old. We started because our son was quiet and sensitive and the training is geared toward finding their young voices and controlling their bodies. We love it!

Outstanding experience. Feels like a home and we will probably be here for years to come. My daughter started Tiger Rock about 2 years ago. She loves it and has grown her confidence and her sense of responsibility there. The teachers are exceptional, especially Ms. Bennett who is fun, skilled, and really knows how to connect and encourage. I give Tiger Rock Sandy a very high recommend.
