Love of Learning

Love of Learning has become like a second home to me. The teachers are amazing and have created a safe environment for all ages. I have learned so much, and grown not only as a student, but as a person as well. They have given me so many opportunities that I wouldn’t get anywhere else, and I am forever grateful.

My child has attended LoL for the past 2 years. After aging out of her elementary age enrichment center, we were nervous that we wouldn't find a place as wonderful as what we had, but LoL has been excellent for her. I will admit, the facility itself is lackluster, but the passion and the care that Frizzle and Jon have for their students and subjects is more important than the building or furnishings. LoL has been an enriching addition to our homeschooling journey.

I love LOL, I have learned so much, and taken so many classes while still having a flexible schedule. The teachers are so nice and supportive, the classes are fun while still helping me learn. I’m so glad I can learn basic subjects and random fun ones all in the same place.

Love of Learning is wonderful place for homeschooled children to take enrichment classes! My kids LOVE their days here. The teachers are amazing and have so many fun hands-on activities planned. They provide many park days, dances, and holiday activities as well as yearbooks at the end of the school year. The teachers really care about their students, you can tell!

Sadly I would not recommend this place to anyone considering an addition to their homeschool curriculum. Our son has been attending LOL for the last two years. The prior owner was slightly more involved than current staff and was even more considerate of parents and students. The current staff don’t seem to have any social skills geared toward children and make no effort to make children feel welcomed or supported (at least this was our experience). "Miss Frizzle" seems to be making an effort to create supportive relationships with students individually. There’s also an adult male individual employed there that seems to have interests (from what I’ve witnessed when on campus) specifically toward teenage girls. There are zero security or screening protocols at this institution which I find surprising at this day and age. I personally can walk in to the facility with no one questioning who I am, why I am there, or if I even have a student that attends any of their classes. The facility as a whole is lacking on multiple fronts and I am actually quite surprised that our homeschool charter supports them from an educational standpoint as well as from a creative/supportive space for students overall. I will be pulling my son out of attending this facility and would not support anyone putting their child into this program.

Love of Learning provides a nurturing, inspiring environment for my kids and has the best mentor-teachers! We have been attending for many years and their mentors have been an important part of my children's lives. They have our kids' best interest at heart always!

Absolutely love Love of Learning! Classes are awesome and the teachers rock! All 4 of my children continue to rave about it! We've attended since the beginning and I've loved watching it grow. I'm happy to help it thrive. Thank you Sarah and Angie for all your hard work. It does not go unnoticed or unappreciated!
