Great experience and teacher. The school paid for my GCDF class student responsible for purchasing the book. The next class is in September (scholarships will be available). Look online for upcoming information if you're interested.

Terrible school. Teachers are not good. School is VERY unorganized and unprofessional. Search anywhere about York tech on any social media and you will find stories. I owe money to them for a class I NEVER took and they didn’t reach out to tell me until 2 years after I was last enrolled in this school. Do not enroll in this school is the easiest way to put it.

Jesus Christ rebuke this college and its staff!!! All they did was waste our son’s time! They cancelled appointments, didn’t return calls, and offered zero support as promised! He was even set up with the CASS department, and they canceled appointments and offered no help. His "advisor" did not advise or offer help as she promised. She blatantly lied to him and set him up for failure! He worked hard and made passing grades, only to be told there was an issue scheduling his further classes. Though his "advisor" told him everything was fine and return at a particular date to get his classes, when he showed up for his appointment the same woman said sorry, a mistake was made and you can’t continue! He asked others in the building to get an explanation or help and got the same ridiculous answer! Therefore, he can’t finish and he would have to return a later time to re-enroll! Start over?! No way! Ridiculous excuse for a school! Terrible school and I pray the Lord has mercy on them for how they are treating some students! If you look at reviews, you will see he is not the only one who’s had a similar experience. You will be held accountable for what you’re doing York Tech and staff. Repent, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and be saved. Learn to do to others as you should. The Lord makes His children’s enemies His footstool. He’s coming back very soon! For these reasons, I’m praying for you. My son will reach his goals through a different school. He will not return to York Tech. There is something better for him. The Lord will bless him! Where's the small chairs they had in the student lounge in K building?! Why would they take out chairs that were next to the charging outlets. A lot of students, are wanting to have the chairs back, why?!. What are we supposed to do lay criss-cross applesauce on the floor! Having lack of food is also bad here! Just vending machines is unacceptable!

I've been a student here for years. This is the worst school. Do not waste your time and money.

Definitely not having a good experience so far. First off, I have lived in South Carolina my whole life. SC address and graduated from a SC High School. My first year they charged me for out of state, and refused to refund me. My parents were vivid. Secondly, they have cost me a lot of money on classes I don’t need to take. I called 3 times, left a message, emailed my advisor and the person she recommended me to, to help me switch my major before my classes started. Nobody got back to me. I couldn’t switch my major until after my classes started. I learn I’m taking a class that I don’t need. This class is high demand. Several assignments a week plus an essay each week. When I asked to drop it since it won’t help my new major, they said I can’t and they will not refund me. They referred me to take it up with my professor, but either way I can’t get refunded. Every time I call up there I am met with someone rude, who doesn’t seem to want to help me. I will say, when I go in person to the career advisors/class schedulers they are so sweet and helpful. Other than that, I’m really disappointed in my experience. Not sure what my next step is going to be regarding this school, I still want my money back from their error on where I live, but I know if I call they will give me an attitude.

York Tech is the most racist school I've ever seen. When I signed up to start classes everyone seemed to be happy about it. But when you enter the halls it is something else. I dropped out of some classes because the teachers themselves said in the classroom that they were unaware of the subject, so a lot of people left the classroom for other teachers to tell them what was going to be with the class. I had never seen anything before. other teachers walk into classrooms with attitudes. I looked for help to explain myself and there is no one. What a school disaster. I have 3 sisters and two cousins who were thinking of going to this school, but it's really not a good idea. This school is useless. Spend your money somewhere that really learns and has teachers who know what they teach.
