Rochester Educational Opportunity Center (REOC)

My cousin has many people behind her that has seen her go through so many struggles and supported her through her journey. She deserved this more than anyone I know, what she is going through I wouldn’t wish this on any future students. I’ve seen her study through the night and speak so passionately about graduating and then to lose our grandma and to be dismissed from their program the same day is discouraging for anyone to go through. They do not care about you. I urge anyone to go to any other school but here, they will waste your time.

Stopped in with a family member to see about them taking classes. Very friendly and helpful, and she's excited to get started here. They have an excellent selection of useful programs that are tuition free if you satisfy the financial guidelines. They seem to have dedicated student parking there, and if I understood the information correctly it's free for them. The entrance does not have handicap buttons to open them. But there's usually somebody who will be helpful and open the door for you.

Highly suggest going to any other school but here. They do not root for your success they do not care about their students in the slightest. Wish I could give 0 stars

The REOC offers classes and certifications for people who can't afford college or need a GED. They have a GED, welding, culinary arts, CNA and LPN courses. There are many more programs. They have advisors, professors, and also an ATTAIN Lab. Hands on learning and extra help. A fantastic community resource.

They dont answer when you call nor call back ive missed 2 phlebotomy training courses due to lack of help and information on anything else attempting to move forward they need a new system

This place isnt what it use to be. Students are disrespectful and teachers don't care if you pass or fail. It's a failed establishment now.

Communication here is abhorrent. Application process is near impossible. I was supposed to start my program online 2 weeks ago, but was never given my log in. I have called over 5 times these past two weeks, and I have emailed even more. The only time someone ever got back to me was when I was informed that my classes were held back, but no one kept me in the loop at all. No responses, no acknowledgement, no help.
