I have no real complaints about Oakland University. It is a super nice campus with an amazing library, student center, and programs. I have loved my time in the film program and have had amazing professors and met great people. The clubs are nice and the facilities are simply the best. It's nice and big and I can go on plenty of walks and theres amazing scenery. The community is great and I have loved my time here.

As an OU alumni, I was thrilled when my daughter wanted to attend Oakland University. I remember how strong my education was and how much the professors genuinely cared about their students and wanted them to succeed. It is sad to see that this level of support has disappeared. I am now watching my daughter try to teach herself the math she needs to learn because of the lack of instruction and support from her professors. Unfortunately, I would not recommend attending this school any longer.

Had a bad experience with a woman in the Financial Aid office. She didn't give her name and was not helpful at all. Calling them is a complete waste of time. I was trying to ask a question and she kept telling me to go to their website and pull up the calendar. I told her I had already looked at the calendar but didn't understand what was meant by one of the notes on an upcoming date but she wouldn't explain it and wanted me to look it up myself. I was asking about a medical withdrawal and the affect it would have on financial aid but without having any information from me regarding the circumstances, she told me that type of withdrawal wasn't necessary!

Here for a blood drive and there is ZERO handicap ♿️ parking spots that make it easier for handicapped individuals to park close enough to get in to the main door for blood drive. Inexcusable and HIGHLY prejudice. I dont even know how thats legal honestly.

Here for a swim meet. Nice pool and spectator seating. Pool easily modified for swimmers with lanes, bulwark, etc...

Very nice campus, so far all of my professors have been great! Has a nice office for Veteran students and being able to us the GI Bill has been a breeze.
