Bilingual Whiz Kidz Language Immersion Preschool

My husband and I love BWK. Maestra Monica and Maestra Ghesia are amazing along with the other teachers. We put our daughter in at 3 months old and we're super nervous for her to go anywhere as she was a smaller baby. They have a low ratio of kids most of the time and almost two teachers with 4 babies in the infant room. Maestra Ghesia is an angel and absolutely loves on the babies. She is a nurse from her home country and is always looking out for my child. Communication is great despite not knowing spanish, but Monica helps bridge any gap. My daughter will know spanish before I do. I love that the school is at the back of the building and it feels safe away from the street. They are VERY clean as that was a big concern for my husband and I. The Montessori style approach is perfect as we did not want our child around a lot of electronics. They finds ways to include the babies in their little events with the bigger kids. It's beautiful to watch our daughter trust another adult. Looking forward to adding to our review as we hit big milestones.

My son has been attending Bilingual Whiz Kids since he was just 3 months old, and I truly could not be happier with our experience. He is now 4 years old and is extremely advanced for his age, which I credit to the amazing teachers and learning environment they provide. Every single teacher he has had has been kind, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. The staff is friendly, professional, and creates a safe, structured, and positive environment where children can really thrive. I have never had a single issue with any staff member — they are truly the best. One thing I really appreciate is that the teachers are direct and honest. They don’t sugarcoat concerns, and if there is ever an issue, they communicate it immediately, which I value so much as a parent. My son loves his teachers and his friends, and he is always excited to go to school. The culture at Bilingual Whiz Kids is amazing, especially for parents who want their child’s first language to be Spanish, which was very important to me. I honestly could not have chosen a better school for my son, and I am so grateful for everything they do. I highly recommend Bilingual Whiz Kids to any parent looking for a loving, high-quality, and safe bilingual program.

My son has been at Bilingual Whiz Kids for the last year and a half and we have all been really happy with his experience here. He started off in the baby classroom and has since moved into the toddler classroom and we have seen him learn and grow so much in that time. The teachers are all very kind and caring and genuinely supportive of my son’s development. They encourage him to practice independence and life skills and work with him patiently to learn how to do things like eat his lunch with a spoon and fork, take off and put on his shoes, and nap on his own. I have seen his language skills explode while at BWK, in both English and Spanish. For our family, finding a Spanish immersion program was very important and it continues to amaze me when he comes home with new words and is able to communicate his wants and needs in multiple languages. In addition to the amazing teachers, my son has also made many friends while at BWK. He wakes up in the morning excited to go to school and see his teachers and friends. As parents, we appreciate the frequent updates from teachers through the app, with teachers sending us pictures and updates on meals and naps throughout the day. We also enjoy the cute crafts that my son brings home from school. Finally for us it was important to raise a child with a diverse diet and we appreciate that BWK allows us to send food from home so my son can continue to practice eating cultural meals as opposed to many other daycares where the served meals may not meet our nutritional preferences. We have been very happy with our experience here at BWK and are glad to have found such a fun, safe and welcoming place for our son.

I’m honestly not sure what happened here or how the children are treated behind closed doors. Looking back, I probably should have reconsidered when we weren’t allowed to tour during class time to observe the activities and classroom environment. My son attended this school for almost a year. Toward the end, he began showing extreme fear and anxiety about going to school, and I knew something wasn’t right. One morning, he was having a tantrum because he did not want to go inside. Instead of offering support or reassurance, the principal turned to me and raised her voice, saying, "See, this is why you have to…" — I’m not even sure what she meant, but it felt like she was criticizing me for my child’s reaction rather than helping the situation. My son was only two years old. I decided to take him home that day because it was clear she did not have the patience to handle a toddler’s emotions. I cried on the way home. I never received an apology. The next day, I attempted to take him back, but he was hysterical and begging not to go. I had never seen him react that way before. I ultimately withdrew him and enrolled him in another school. Since transferring, he has not thrown tantrums about school or cried during drop-off. He now loves going to school. I truly still wonder what caused him to develop such fear about attending. In addition, one of the main reasons we chose this school was for Spanish immersion, but he still would only speak english. I would encourage parents to also read the Yelp reviews before enrolling. After leaving, I found other families expressing concerns similar to mine regarding their children’s experiences. I cannot speak to everything that happens inside the classrooms, but I do wish the school offered more transparency, such as live streaming or classroom observation options. Every other school I toured provided that, which gives parents added peace of mind

Both of my children are so loved and well taken care of at BWK. We have been part of this community since 2023 and I can’t say enough good things about the teachers. Our family is very lucky that our boys are thriving here.

My son absolutely loves his school and his teachers. Everyone has been so welcoming and you can really tell the teachers love what they do and their students! He has learned so much just in a few months and I feel confident and safe when dropping him off. Monica, the founder/director, has done a great job with selecting the right staff, & putting together the cutest activities and events for the parents to be apart of. Definitely recommend to any ethnicity, they will make you feel at home.

My daughter has some special needs, but has grown tremendously the last 6 months at Bilingual Whiz Kidz. Monica, the director has been a wonderful support system to our family while we navigate health and behavior issues. My daughter was reluctant to go to school for the first several weeks, but now? She screams to go to school as soon as she wakes up. She loves her teachers, her friends, her routine, and even her uniform. We love the warmth of BWK and the colorful classrooms. We love that she has gained social skills, feeding skills, potty training, and a routine. We are astonished how much Spanish she knows in 6 months! It’s a wonderful daycare that I would definitely recommend.
