Rough Draft: Imagine that you're walking down the street at night then BLAM you get choked out and killed by an eight foot tall monster, well that happened to Victor Frankenstein's entire family. In the book Frankenstein written by Gris Grimly we meet a character known as The Monster. Now don't be fooled by what the book tries to show you. The Monster is an evil murderer and a stalker and I will prove that to you. For my first piece of evidence I will show The Monster is violent. Here is a quote directly from the book; " my heart was built to be susceptible to love and sympathy".That quote seems to help the monster's case but the monster has burnt down a family's house that he loved, this shows his actions are contradicted by his words directly that is clearly someone who is evil. The Monster also states. "Think ye that the groans of Clerval were music to my ears?" The monster could have stopped trying to kill Clerval as he knew killing was wrong. He hated the sounds and it's not like Clerval could do anything to The Monster clerval would be trying to catch his breath and the monster could just run away so the monster is just making himself more miserable. The monster had a choice and still did those terrible things that he knew was wrong and he is villainizing the victor to make himself feel better about the horrid atrocities that the monster has done. Now some people think that victor is the real monster because he showed violence to the monster and left the monster when he came to life. But I have gone through all of vol 1 and victor hadn't shown any violence but he did run away. But there is more evidence to prove that the victor is innocent and the monster is evil. Like this quote from the book "Make me a creature of another sex but as hideous as myself." That quote proves that the monster is evil, wishing for someone else to be as messed up and miserable as you just so they don't go and try to be with the humans that are so messed up. My second quote from the book " I trembled and my heart failed within me when on looking up I saw by the light of the moon the daemon at the casement ." Now that quote was from victor this quote from the book shows that the monster is stalking victor even all the way on a remote island with 50 foot tall cliffs around it in the middle of ireland the monster still wants to stalk and torment victor. These quotes show just how messed up and evil the monster is by going to extreme lengths just to kill a dude that ran away from you for being scared. In conclusion The Monster’s actions have directly contradicted what he has said to others as he stalked and tormented a family for being scared of him. Believe the monster is a stalker and an evil murderer. And I hope that I have helped you realize that too
