IntelliTec College in Pueblo

As a student currently enrolled in the cosmetology program, I wanted to share my positive experience here at IntelliTec. From day, one I have been impressed by the support from both instructors and staff. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we understand the material. (Renee) is one instructor who does make sure that her students understand and she is there to help and answer questions of needing, along with other instructors. They teach us at the aspects of cosmetology and also provide ample hands-on experience. I appreciate Renee and Terry, as they make themselves available for any questions or concerns outside of the class. The instructors encourages us to express our creativity at every opportunity. Big thank you to the instructor. The staff are equally dedicated to our success as well making it a positive environment. It’s made a difference in my learning experience, allowing me to grow both professionally and personally. I couldn’t be happier with my choice attending IntelliTec, and I would recommend this school to anyone who is interested in pursuing a career and cosmetology and with the support and knowledge I’ve gained I’m excited about my future in this amazing industry.

Do not send your kids to this school, especially the cosmetology program. My wife went in for a simple nail service from her daughter (a student there) and instead paid $40 to get front-row seats to a circus. Another student decided it was the perfect time to publicly confront and berate her daughter, in front of customers, no less. When my wife pointed out how unprofessional this was, the student turned on her too. It gets better: when my wife said she’d report the behavior to "Tim," who’s apparently in charge of this circus, the student bragged that it wouldn’t matter because he’s her neighbor, drinking buddy, and "best friend." Very reassuring leadership, isn’t it? The chaos seems to stem from an instructor, Renee, who, according to multiple accounts, stirs the pot, gossips about staff, students, and even management, and lets the drama spread unchecked. The leadership clearly knows but chooses to look the other way. This is supposed to be a school where kids learn a trade and prepare for a career. Instead, they’re dealing with threats, favoritism, and unchecked bullying that makes them dread coming back. Professional decorum? Nonexistent. Accountability? Laughable. Save your money, your sanity, and your kids’ ambitions. This place is toxic from the top down. Just an update. The school claims they conducted a thorough investigation. One would think that any thorough investigation would have involved speaking to my wife who was accosted by their student but it didn’t. Additionally, my wife tried to help her daughter by scheduling a service with her. The school made it difficult and instead of scheduling her with her daughter, the scheduled her with the student who accosted her. Who is making these decisions there?

Miss Olivia Anderson is the BEST. I neverrr got any sort of "self care" treatment and Olivia always listens to me when I have any sort of question or confusion, I know little about hair and she regularly takes care of my picky hair above and beyond what I expect from any hair stylist I’ve ever been too. Scalp treatment and facials, are pretty much all I really care for and she always exceeds all expectations to make me feel comfortable and knowledgeable about what she’s practicing. Olivia is always open to trying new things with anyone, undoubtedly making you look and feel like nothing less than a queen every time!! Olivia has helped me try new things I’ve never tried before and I always love it. You’re doing an amazing job representing everything you do. 🩵🩵

I have been so pleased with this school and in particular with Bobbie! She has been so sweet & communicative with me. She makes it easy for me to schedule with her. She is also conscientious when she does my hair, making sure it is exactly what I want. She added a little sassy pink last time I went and I love it. I will continue to go to her as long as I can.

Got my haircut, colored, and deep conditioned as well as got some amazing products for mine and my daughters hair! Miss Tuesday was absolutely amazing and very caring, honest, and transparent about the costs of everything. Tuesday was so amazing I went back for mani pedis as well! She was so nice and honest which was great knowing exactly what it was going to cost without any additional surprises. Highly recommend and am very pleased with all my services!

This teacher is incredible! They're not only knowledgeable but also truly passionate about teaching her students. They always go the extra mile to ensure everyone understands the material and offer a supportive and engaging classroom environment. Their dedication to student success is evident, and I’m glad to be in her class as a medical assistant ms.Frederica thank you for being an amazing instructor! 🌟👩‍🏫

Took a CNA course here, very informative teachers, professional staff. Fun to go back to school. Good break room. Friendly campus.
