St lucie school district is the worst school district that I have experience dealing with. My son is in 1st grade and I can’t even count the number of issues we have had with the district. The transportation department and bus routes are awful- my son was required to walk over a mile on a busy road (he is 6 years old!) and the buses are constantly late or being substituted and combined with other routes. The enrollment process is awful and he is forced to attend a low rated, miserable elementary school that is far from our house, even though there is an amazing school less than a mile from where we live. The way they assign schools is senseless and I have never seen such a problematic process within a school district. Communication between the teachers and parents is non existent. The issues go on and on! Do what you can to avoid this school district!!!!

im a student and i need to work on my homework and i can't even get into the website.. which pisses me off easily. but overall when it does work its fine. 3 stars because i find it alright, but schools and employees are lovely and polite! 4 stars 🙂

I don't understand why, if the children leave school at 4, they are arriving late. It's 6 and they still haven't arrived. I'm requesting that you monitor the children's arrival times.

Please hire someone that can handle taking a phone call. I have called couple of times and they just transfer you in the middle of taking. Zero customer service. I can't believe this is the service you offer students/families of Port Saint Lucie!!

Terrible. They still can't get it together. All this money goes to graduation, but they can't get staff to read phonetics correctly and butcher so many kids' names. We came from out of town and followed the instructions posted on their website, which should've told families they only hired a handful of police officers to direct traffic. We ended up on a 1 mile stretch for almost an hour trying to get in, and getting out after the ceremony was worse. Why? All the hired officers left ! No one directs traffic out with a bunch of people not knowing how to act. The education is so diluted it's no wonder there were so many graduates. I have a kid with high honors, and sometimes I don't know how until you see all the cost associated with graduates and all clicks. Corporate cash grabs and the incentives to push lower standards of education to generate more revenue. So glad it's over and her real education can begin.

I have to thank the efforts of all the teachers, professors and other members of the school campuses, since Florida is one of the worst states to work as an educator, due to the miserable salaries they receive. That being said, I asked myself, where does taxpayers' money go? Who gets all that money? The food served in the cafeterias of all schools is basically waste. My son tells me that before he could drink milk or juices. but now they are expired, the fruits and vegetables are frozen and thawed and according to my child they taste chemical or rotten and sometimes both, how is it possible? where is our money going? our children do not even receive fresh food...

It’s very disheartening to have a special needs kid that is allergic to mosquitoes awaiting for 40 minutes outside after walking from home to bus stop no one thought of parents that do not have cell phones how will we know that there is a substitute bus if no one call or inform through emails everyone doesn’t have a cell phone and I have no other transportation so me having a bus app doesn’t work for me I have other bills that need more attention then my cell this bus district need to consider the parents that may not have all the updated electronics or the way cost of living is they should also consider late bus access pick up’s for the parents at work that can’t get off to take kids do to missing bus be it heavy rain or doctor appointments some parents may have medical transportation but after kid is done with doctor visit they will miss assignments and some have tests so these things can cause failure but if they have the late bus access they have a chance I feel no child should be left behind nor the child parents who struggle to give there kids the best so we sacrifice like instead of a car I bought a house because that was more important I just hope things can be held with more consideration of the working parents who want there kids to get an education rely on public transportation to find a better solution thank you
