My son has been taking Tae Kwan Do and Jiu Jitsu here twice a week, for over a year. He ABSOLUTELY enjoys every single class, he always leaves with a great workout, and learns new skills and techniques each session. He loves Master Christina and all the instructors; to me, Master Christina and the team are the perfect combination of (obviously) skilled martial artists, bringing discipline, focus, and encouragement- all in the perfect balance of each. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my kiddo to grow, and he is waiting for the day when he’ll be a black belt and can help assist with the other kids! We are here to stay!

Hwang’s Martial Arts is the best place to train in self-defense and fitness! Matt and his team are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, creating a great environment for all skill levels. I came in with no experience, and within a few sessions, I gained real confidence and practical techniques that I know would work in real life. The workouts are intense, making it a great way to get in shape while learning real self-defense. If you want to build confidence, improve fitness, and learn how to protect yourself, Hwang’s is the place to be. Highly recommend!

I have nothing but high praise for Hwang’s. Kristina and Matt do an incredible job of creating an environment that is conducive to both learning and camaraderie. They are extremely well versed in their art and are able to teach that knowledge effectively. As a former gymnastics coach, I was pleasantly surprised of their understanding of body mechanics and implementation of that into their teaching. The atmosphere of the gym is extremely welcoming. You get the feeling that it is safe to ask questions and learn. There’s a healthy mix of both male and female students of all ages. Overall, if you’re thinking of learning a martial art, look no further. Hwangs Martial Arts is as good as it gets.

I have two boys learning from Mrs. Hwang and I am very happy with the growth I’ve seen. They are more confident, and they enjoy coming to class. I like the why I see inside and outside the dojo.

We have an 8yr old boy here. Professional. Organized. Communicative. Positive. Patient with the kids. Consistent. Clean, **creative teaching. Kids are engaged and excited to work hard! Idk how they do it! My child has increased in a sense of respect for authority. Kristina and her team are all beyond competent in the skills to practice the arts, but to teach younger kiddos.
