World Speaks

World Speaks is an amazing organization dedicated to removing language barriers in the Omaha community. I have worked with a few of their interpreters for an event, and I was beyond impressed by how professional and knowledgeable they were. I would highly recommend World Speaks to anyone who is looking for translation services or language courses. They offer so much more and Omaha is so fortunate to have an organization like this!

World Speaks is a wonderfully diverse organization committed to equity and inclusion. Their work bridges the language gap that tends to negatively impact low-income communities and people of color, and their efforts have helped so many in Omaha. A wonderful organization full of brilliant, compassionate people!

World Speaks is an incredible organization committed to addressing various language barriers in the community. I am so impressed by how they are intentional about programming by centering their mission on what the needs of the community are. Services include language classes and interpreter services. World Speaks is involved in community events and offers legal document translations as well! I’m very impressed with their new program Open Doors where they assist those who do not speak English as a first language seek affordable housing needs.

I wholeheartedly appreciate World Speaks for its unwavering commitment to accessibility, inclusivity, and language empowerment. Having participated in two language courses, ASL and Spanish, the classes are incredibly affordable (only a $15 administration fee), taught by native speakers, and a great avenue for language learning while building community and having fun. World Speaks has consistently demonstrated its dedication to breaking language barriers, fostering civic engagement, and providing high-quality translation and interpretation services. I highly recommend World Speaks to anyone seeking language access and learning opportunities.

World Speaks is such an amazing organization that Omaha is very lucky to have. They provide interpreting and translating services as well as offer language classes. They are engaged in the Omaha community with their leaders often speaking at events, small or large. You can really tell that their team is passionate about what they do!

It's great to have this kind of resource in our area. I also appreciate that they are working within the community to expand language access to housing with their program, Open Doors.
