University of Nebraska Omaha

A great educational facility for students and adults who are interested in attaining a higher level of academic education. I would recommend this school to anyone interested in building their knowledge. The buildings are easy to navigate and there are plenty of great historical structures to see. My hope is that Trump does not try to extort money from this university as he has from several other universities.

Decent school for what I've seen, parking sucks as you buy a pass for either dodge or Scott with both being $150 and no garuteed spot. It's also compounded by the worst public transportation I've experienced. It takes 10 minutes to do a less than 5 minute drive, and that's not even waiting for the bus to show up.

The Omaha Mavericks compete in 15 NCAA Division I sports in both the NCHC and Summit League conferences. The ice hockey, basketball, and volleyball teams compete in Baxter Arena on the university's Center Campus. Opened in 2021, Connie Claussen Field is the home of the softball team and the baseball team plays at Tal Anderson Field; both are located at Maverick Park, west of Baxter Arena.[14] UNO enjoyed national attention in 2015, when the hockey team reached the national semifinal (Frozen Four) of the NCAA tournament for the first time.[15]

Would hand over any student, faculty, or staff if asked. Has no interest in education or serving the students it claims to protect. Do not give this university your money or time. There are complying with regulations and laws that do not even exist. Nonexistent laws that are threats to the well being of a majority of their student population.

Great school, wonderful people, and fairly priced. Terrible bus system and safety, though! Along with the pushed upon beliefs and religion! But nice place, very spacious and welcoming.

Haven't been here long but I already love it. The atmosphere is great, dorms are the best I have ever seen. The campus is well maintained and beautiful in the spring and fall. Lots of places to relax or to study. Lots of different offices to help you with homework, papers, speeches, or job interviews. Always something different going on to stay involved. Most of the teachers are great. And the food that is served in all the different cafés is outstanding. Love this college!

I have had a great experience with the instructors. However, the parking situation is very underdeveloped. Students who commute often arrive 1 hour early in order to find a spot. Residents often don't have the parking they bought a permit for. All in all, having parking be the biggest downside for a university is impressive. Good school!
