Kang's Black Belt Academy

Kang's is such a wonderful place run by great staff who treat you like family. Their curricula has done wonders for our son's focus and maturity. They offer lots of great programs like parents nights out, day camps when school is out and summer camp. Highly recommend.

Kang’s Black Belt Academy truly feels like family. My oldest son has been training here for about 4 years (he started around age 5), and my husband joined about two years ago. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in every student — kids and adults alike. We’ve seen steady growth in confidence, focus, and even listening and self-control at home. It’s more than just martial arts; it’s a supportive community we’re proud to be part of. We’re planning for our youngest to join next year, and I will join after that. Highly recommend Kang’s!

My younger one started about 4 years ago and my older one about two years, both loved it! Kangs is not just a place to learn taekwondo but also about family and friendship! Instructors know every single one of the kids and their parents and Kangs staff genuinely care about their students. There’s a personal touch here. Staff is very professional. Whether you just want to learn basics or want to go for competitions, someone’s here for you. My older daughter has been on a few competitions and she loved it. I witnessed her from being a shy introvert girl to confident teen in less than two years . My younger daughter is already doing demos and competitions at 7! All good things about Kangs, this is the place to join!

Kang's black belt academy is absolutely fabulous! We registered our 3-year-old for a trial through the new year. Despite the fact that he decided he was not interested in the classes, I have nothing but good things to say. The instructors are fabulous at engaging children and trying to get them into the activities. The price is reasonable and the lessons they teach (respect and focus) to the children are invaluable.

My kid started with the kid program, and is now attending the normal taekwondo classes. He loves going, has a big goofy smile on his face when he learns new tricks, and can't get enough. He learned excellent values including perseverance, and through small competitions he is learning how to face stress. The staff is super nice and the atmosphere very friendly. And summer camp is outstanding. Couldn't be happier

My son has been going to Kang's for the past two years. He went through the little dragons program and is now a kid tiger and a part of the new youth black belt club. He started as a very reluctant 3.5 year old who barely wanted to stay on the mat to participating in tournaments, practicing with weapons, and showing so much confidence on and off the mat. Kang's has taught him to work hard, persevere, and have fun exercising. He loved summer camp last year and is looking forward to going again next year (and the following year when he'll finally be old enough for the sleepaway camp). We also love the parents night outs. The teachers are fantastic at meeting kids where they're at and pushing them to be their best.

My friend recommended Kang’s Black Belt Academy, and my son joined at a young age. It has been an absolutely incredible place for him to learn Taekwondo. Beyond martial arts training, the academy also emphasizes important life skills that support a child’s overall growth and development. The instructors are extremely friendly, supportive, and genuinely invested in the students’ success.
