Master Kim and his Leadership has been an amazing place for my family—we’ve seen so much growth in confidence, discipline, and focus. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and truly care about every student’s progress. I greatIy appreciate Instructor Alen for all that he has done for me in my training and I wish him well in his future endeavors at UC Berkeley. This academy feels less like just a martial arts class and more like being part of a supportive community.

Love this place been going here since I was 7 years old. The instructors and leadership are very caring and know how to deal with kids and parents. Highly recommend sending your kids here to learn self defense and discipline.

I am currently a 1st degree black belt, and looking back, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in my martial arts journey. The instructors Mr. Alen and Ms. June are the most wonderful mentors, who have pushed me physically and emotionally to help me achieve bigger and greater goals, along with Master Kim, who through his patience and great teaching skills, has motivated me to tackle my struggles. The training here is vigorous, but definitely worth it so I recommend everyone to go here! The environment is really supportive, so the training will be a lot better to go through and enjoy.

The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and provides a welcoming atmosphere for practitioners of all levels. The bathroom is very spacious and nice as well. The classes are structured efficiently, balancing rigorous training with a focus on technique and discipline. Overall, I couldn't be happier to join DK taekwondo. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, I highly recommend this dojo for its outstanding instruction, friendly community, and commitment to excellence in Taekwondo training. GREAT taekwondo studio/gym. A great place to learn about respect, self defense and most of all discipline. The masters ( the teachers ) are friendly but at the same time very hardworking. The masters there such as Master Kim makes sure you try to your best ability possible and helps you imporve to get to an even better standard. This is just one of two amazing taekwondo gyms Master kim has. Also the gym is at a good location, which is always great when thinking of safety. I will definitely be coming her again very shortly.
