Korean Culture Center NYC

I have been attending Korean language and culture classes remotely for about a year now and have learned much more than I expected in that time frame. I started out knowing absolutely nothing so was grateful to be able to choose classes that suited my pace. I love the format in which each class is taught and very much appreciate the way complimentary classes are designed to support learning. I find the discussions on culture to be fascinating and educational. KCCNY has been a wonderful venue for learning something new and meeting new and wonderful people. It is such a great community. I'm grateful to be able to participate even if it's from a distance.

I love taking classes here. There are so many choices of levels and times and days. The teachers are so supportive and never make you feel shy or embarrassed. I love that if I cannot make my normal class I can attend another session so I don't miss out. I also love that there's a sense of community, with in-person and virtual events, including a monthly book club.

The classes are nice and the instructor is really knowledgeable! she is into politics a bit too much and the class can get awkward sometimes. Other than that, you can learn a lot and there are many classes to accommodate your schedule.

I've been taking Korean classes for about a year now, and I've made more progress here (through their online classes) then I ever had in previous attempts!

I have been attending classes at KCC for over a year and I have been very satisfied. The instructors are very friendly and create a great learning environment. There are classes with various levels of Korean being offered so it allows one to pick the pace they want to expand their language. I strongly recommend KCC if you are interested in learning Korean or just working on expanding your current level.

KCC has a fun and safe learning environment. The instructors are great and really pay attention to each students needs. No matter what reason you started to learn korean, you will leave with a better understanding of korean language and culture. I have taken classes beginning at the starter level and I am currently an intermediate student, I can say with full confidence that KCC is an amazing place. The people I’ve met and opportunities I’ve gotten are priceless, but most importantly, the quality of education is top tier.

I am extremely happy with the progress I've made as a student at KCC. The Starter and Basic courses, taken with Conversation classes, have given me an excellent base to build on the skills I'll need to become proficient in the language. The instructors as KCC are the best part of the learning experience: besides their expert knowledge of Korean culture, they really care that every student achieves their personal language goals. Now that classes are held on-line due to social distancing restrictions, I've seen no loss of individual attention from the teaching staff, or in the great classroom interactions between students that makes KCC a fun and amazing place to come together as a community.
