I have been at this school for a year, and I have had an excellent experience here. The school has a great location in Times Square. The teachers are knowledgeable and engaging, and the curriculum is well-designed, covering all aspects of the English language. Additionally, the school offers a variety of activities for students to have opportunities to meet a lot of people who are from different countries and to learn about their cultures. Moreover, I have learned the cultural and history about New York through free lectures. Not only I have improved my English, but I have also developed my social network.
I spend a really good time on EC school. The location is very good, right in the Time Square and they have good facilities. I enjoy classes a lot with some teachers and it’s a good chance to get know people from different countries, and the best part is that they organize other activities after class. I strongly recommend EC.
You can have fun studying with great teachers(specially Megan) and friends from all over the world. It is located in the center of Times Square in New York, so transportation is convenient. And there are classes for people over 30, so you don't have to worry if you're older. You can meet friends with various experiences. This is a great language school!

They have all a motivating way of teaching. A unique experience is also to exchange ideas with classmates from different countries and cultures. It's hard for me to say goodbye, because i feel very comfortable, the city has given me a lot of inspiration and i was able to learn a lot here. I'll be back. By Chris
🧡 Just one problem – I didn’t want to leave and three months went by too fast. Summer 25, Program 30+, B2+ level, progress in 3 months +20%. TEACHERS Experienced professionals and interesting personalities. Warm and personal approach. A real passion for teaching and languages. Lots of laughter and fun in many classes. But careful – if it’s fun, it doesn’t mean you’re not learning! 😉 SCHOOL SYSTEM Morning General English classes – two different teachers during the week, which was great. Every teacher has a slightly different method, approach, and accent. Afternoon Focus Lessons – You can choose from different options with different teachers. Either go with the teacher whose style suits you best, or pick based on the topic. For example: English for Work, Speaking & Listening, Reading & Writing, Vocabulary. Highly recommend for faster progress. One-to-one lessons – more expensive, but if you have a specific goal you need help with, I really recommend them. BOOKS & METHOD Amazing National Geographic textbooks that encourage you to connect with classmates from all over the world and bring in topics that are interesting for 30+ students. The learning is interactive, practical, and adapted to the fact that many students stay only for two or three weeks. And it’s real learning – be ready for homework 🙂 ACCOMMODATION My experience: • Lexington 525 Residence – clean, quiet, well-equipped, perfect location for exploring the city. • Shared apartment, Upper West Side – the best! You live like a real New Yorker in a brick building with a black fire escape and a rooftop, just a few minutes’ walk from Central Park, in a calm and safe part of Manhattan. LOCATION Perfect spot, which makes the school an excellent basecamp for afternoon exploring. For relaxation, you can go to nearby Bryant Park, and for studying, the beautiful NYC Library is right there. SUPPORT Got a problem? Don’t worry! The EC School team is full of professionals who are always ready to help. I just don’t understand how they manage to remember so many students’ names 🙂 AFTERNOON PROGRAM A great opportunity to meet more students and very helpful if you’re a bit nervous about exploring the city solo. CLASSMATES I’m taking home real friendships with people from all around the world. I was lucky to meet many open-minded and interesting classmates, all drawn to incredible New York – the capital city of the world. 🧡 ⸻ Big thanks to the EC School NYC team. Special thanks to Tati, Elaine, Kaizer and Joe 🧡 ⸻ (And yes Tati – ChatGPT helped me write this, otherwise I’d still be writing forever… and I’m not in school anymore 😀)
I had the time of my life during the four weeks I studied at EC English! The teachers and the entire staff are not only highly qualified to help students genuinely improve their English, but they also create an inclusive, welcoming environment for everyone. I'm truly grateful for the experience—and for the progress I made, both in language and confidence.
If you’re looking for a place to improve your English and do new friends, EC NEW YORK for you. Since I arrived my English have been improved in all of means. I love how our Teacher spend their time to help us improve our capabilities.
