Skagit Valley College

Asked an employee at the store for help finding a book I needed. Gave him the paper directly from the college with the book info, he said they were out but he personally had one to sell me. The book he personally sold me was the wrong book. The college (including the Dean) refused to take responsibility. Unethical and a conflict of interest for employees of the college to advertise personal items while on the clock, even if it was a mistake. I should be able to trust they are giving me correct advice, and worse case have options to correct it.

I got stalked and harassed at the dorms by British athletes. Staff did nothing and I've transferred schools since; this one is trash.

Did the full 4 years. Politics are tearing the place apart. Kind people, but lots of drama. Even if you lay low and do all the good stuff like I did, scholarships and stuff, there's no guarantee you will earn the degree you want. I was halfway through my final quarter about to graduate with honors and they decided to pull me from practicum with a nonsense reason and proceeded to play around with my time. Use a different more trustworthy institution. This one is failing from the inside out and student are not supported. No cafeteria since covid, no intention to bring it back. Administration is hit and miss at best. No student voice because nobody cares, everyone is overwhelmed and jaded. Not the experience you want for college.

A bright light in this area! I love how friendly and caring the staff and faculty are, and they have a wonderful library.
