Mt Vernon School District

Despite being zoned for a specific school, my child was denied enrollment due to "overcrowding" with no formal capacity data provided. The district relied on an expired IEP to make placement decisions, ignoring updated evaluations and requests for reevaluation. Multiple documented incidents occurred because staff failed to follow the agreed-upon IEP/BIP, violating state and federal law (IDEA/WAC). Written communications from the district confirm these failures. Parents: keep everything in writing, request prior written notice, and compare district actions to OSPI safeguards. Documentation is being submitted through official complaint channels. Proceed with caution and use wise mind with these clowns.

When addressing concerns about making a education plan to help my student get back up to grade level. At no time has there bean testing or plan if action made. It's bean a year since I signed papers for a 504 and I still have to seen one .

How is it educational to provide my student with video games access and social media via school supplied chrome book?
