The Gym: Home of Boltz's Family Martial Arts Academy

Master Boltz has a wonderful program that Includes taekwondo, sword technique, exercise programs, and afterschool care. He also supports his community with free events to bring us together. His Martial arts program accents self discipline, caring competition, and positive focus while providing a lot of Fun. Our whole family participates! Kids do taekwondo, my husband and I do Haidong Gumdo. It’s fun and great exercise. Love their after school program (they pick the kids up from school!) and summer program, too.

The Boltz gym is the most impressive family martial arts gym we have found. They are family oriented with many activities. They offer a wide array of Tae Kwon Do for people of all ages and skill level. All the instructors and staff treat you like you are a member of their martial arts family, no matter if you are a student or a parent. They get to know you and your family on a personal level and take the time to know your name. My son is more confident due to the structuring of the lessons in the Little Dragons class. I LOVE The Gym and have only positive comments about it!!! After taking taekwondo at Korean Culture Camp, my two girls couldn't wait to find a place they could continue learning taekwondo. My husband and I did some research and fell in love with The Gym. It was a perfect fit, somewhere the girls could learn but also where we could be a part of a community/family. Taekwondo at The Gym isn't just physical activity, but it teaches the values of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit. In addition, my girls and husband (who joined them taking classes) have participated in Red Dragon Warriors and participated in tournaments, and as a family, we have attended multiple FUN community events. I highly recommend The Gym.

My girls started here early last fall and convinced me to join shortly after. Taekwondo has been good for them physically, mentally, and socially. They have been building strong character, mind, and body. I could not ask for better instructors. The Gym also does so much for the community with its free events all year round!

The Gym is martial arts and SO much more! My girls went here for 3 years, and if it wasn't for our move we'd still be going. They were like family. My girls did after school care, and were picked up right from their school, which was a life saver for my work schedule; it was great because they also did their Taekwondo lesson before I picked them up. Master Boltz was always trying to find ways new ways to support families during the pandemic and beyond, and make it affordable. They did parents night out where we could drop off our kids and get a date night in. They put SOOO much time and effort in fun summer camp activities planning out ninja warrior courses, water days, tons of blow up houses and so much more. More than any of that though what I especially appreciated was that they genuinely cared about my girls as individuals, and helped them grow in confidence and in respect for others. I feel so blessed to have found this place, and I know my girls are better people from being a part of the community there!

We've been at this gym for over a year now. The side event they do every few months are absolutely amazing. Inflatable fairs? For free? What? That's unheard of. They do so much for the community on top of after school programs and summer camp programs. That's not including all the good being done with each student from age 3 to 90. The instructors are phenomenal as well. This place has done so much good for our kiddo. I'm so thankful for it being open and all they do for so many.
