Pittsburgh Chinese Academy

I am a student at PCA and have been studying there for a few years. I feel like they do a really good job of trying to get the students to participate and have fun while learning. There are many fun activities that incorporate Chinese. For, example there will be days were there is BINGO. It helps kids learn to both study regularly and make new friends. Also, throughout the year when there many Chinese festivals that will be celebrated at the school. Such as, the Chinese New Year Gala were there are performances, food, and games after. Overall in these few years, I have noticed that I have improved a lot in both reading and writing, and made many new friends.

Teachers are experienced and patient; classes are interactive and interesting. Even though the school is set up in a church and the space is limited, I still enjoy learning here. Overall a good school for people who are interested in learning Chinese!

A small school with super nice staff. The teachers make it fun to learn Chinese and activities are more than just sitting in the classroom. The culture classes are a plus, calligraphy, drawing, etc. Chess (not Chinese chess) is a surprise. The kids said that the teacher was serious, planning for competitions and everything for the year.

I have been with this school for many years. The teachers are very dedicated, responsible and friendly. All the school administors and staff are supportive and hardworking. I would high recommend PCA if your kids are interested in learning Chinese.
