Macon Bus Station

Good Evening, The Macon Bus terminal was very clean. The only problem I had was I am disabled and my aunt didn't know where to let me out at to catch my bus. I do apologize for being in the bus lane but I can’t walk long distances. The lady on the loud speaker was very rude. Its a way to talk to people. I would like to know for future references. Where can the disabled be dropped off and picked up at? Thank you! In else I did enjoyed my ride to Atlanta.

On January 08 I had a reserved seat from Macon, GA to Augusta, GA. As I boarded the bus I immediately noticed that someone was in my seat. The bus driver was notified of the issue and told me to just sit anywhere because we was all going to Atlanta, GA anyway. I paid extra money to have that specific seat & should have been accommodated. If not, then they should at least give me my money back.

We were on our way to Raleigh but then we got a flat, people asking the bus driver can they go out and smoke a cigarette an stretch their legs an bus driver said if the bus was moving u couldn't smoke so I said, we have a flat tire an waiting for someone to come an charge the tire. I think that was wrong of him. We are waiting for someone to fix the flat an I think it's wrong. But u charge all this money to get the bus only to get a flat. Nobody knows what time the tire will be changed. We are jus sitting here waiting. That's wrong and I'm gonna report him. The bus driver got off the bus twice so what's the difference, I'll wait for an answer

I have traveled Greyhound for years and recently my biggest gripe has been the filthy bus depots, with overflowing trash cans, unsanitary restrooms, vagrants and drug users. Not so in Macon! Remarkably, this Greyhound station, though Spartan in many respects (no restaurant or food concessioner, just vending machines only) is not only sparkling clean, but free of panhandles and homeless people harassing the paying passengers! The young man responsible for maintaining such a high level of cleanliness and sanitation needs to be recognized by Greyhound corporate and sent on a national tour teaching other station managers how easy it truly is to clean and maintain a depot facility! Hats off to this hardworking professional in Macon for all his diligence, attention to detail, and personal pride! THIS is what makes America GREAT people! Very nice people in the community. Great Wal-Mart been there a few times. Must have bumped into something on my right upper thigh. Always something. I'm in Jax, FL Hampton Inn for 2 nights.

I would give 0 stars if I could. My issue occurred the morning of September 5, 2018. I got in line to get on the 10:30 AM bus to Savannah. The male Customer Service agent who works at the depot asked to see my ticket and then ordered me to the back of the line which was only about 6 or 7 persons. He said "others had been waiting longer.". I had been waiting for a half hour at the station and did not cut in front of anyone. I just happened to get in line earlier than others, and was #2 in the line up. I ride GH all over the country and found this very, very odd and have not encountered it elsewhere. It made me wonder if I had been singled for some particular reason by the staff member. I then looked and noticed that Greyhound had issued me ticket boarding number #1 when I bought the ticket several weeks earlier so the local staff wasn't even following Greyhound policy for line ups. I strongly recommend that Greyhound in Macon train local employees in customer service. Customers should not be treated differently based on race, ethnicity, age, gender or any other social characteristic.

Greyhound bus #US0636 did not stop in Macon, GA for 10:25 p.m. pickup to Memphis on Sat., April 22, 2023. I understand being delayed, but to not show up is the worst customer service and business. We waited 3 hours. The bus tracker said 11:34, then I chatted with Whendey and was told the bus would arrive at 11:39 p.m. We waited until 1:00 a.m. and finally got in touch with a customer service representative who was overseas. She said bus had stopped here at 11:39 p.m. But of course she was reading misinformation on her computer. We told her that no bus came because we were sitting here. My relative really needed and expected to leave last night. It was awful to expect service and don't get it. Greyhound service has deterioted for the people who really need the service. Shame on you!
