This model allows students to go at their own pace instead of depending on where the rest of their class is in relation to the curriculum.

As someone who speaks both French and Spanish, I’ve found LanguageBird’s one-on-one model to be the perfect fit for my multilingual journey, and while it requires an initial investment, the results are truly worth every penny. I initially used LanguageBird to refine my Spanish skills. My teacher, Lian Gutierrez, has epitomized what makes LanguageBird exceptional. Her lesson plans are defined by her dedication to making the most out of a student’s ability. In other words, her enthusiasm for using my personal interests to build effective lesson plans while simultaneously maximizing everything I can learn has made LanguageBird nothing short of a great experience. Because my experience has been so rewarding, I’m thrilled to continue with LanguageBird to further my French studies. I highly recommend LanguageBird especially for students like me, interested in mastering a language beyond surface leveled conversation.

Working with Language Bird is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. They scammed me in the beginning by telling me I needed classes + tutoring which was double the price and ultimately when I circled back to my son's high school, they told me that was totally unnecessary. When I went back for a refund, they refused. The teachers often don't communicate clearly, show up to the wrong zoom-room, or are late. And all language bird wants to do is quickly charge me additional $100 fees....all on top of the initial charge (half of which I didn't ever need or use)

We did LanguageBirds for 3 years because of Covid. There are some nice people there, but overall, I think my daughter would have learned more at regular school. I would also say that LB is quick to charge you if you don't communicate in time that you are missing a session, which is understandable, but their teachers aren't held to the same standards and miss sessions. Lastly, LB makes the kids communicate through Microsoft Teams; texting isn't allowed, which to me is a broken process. On a positive, it's a good place if you're just looking for a way for your kid to get an easy A and get through courses quickly.

Overall nice way to add language requirement to your high- schooler. Very disappointed with their make up policy . If you happen to have any technical difficulty mid way through your online class you will be charged $100 dollars. If you wake up sick you better endure the class with 104 fever because if you don't give then 24 hour notice you will be charged $100 dollars as well. Very rigid and pricey policies to already very expensive online course.

Our daughter absolutely enjoyed learning a Japanese at language bird. Her instructor fostered a love of the culture, made learning fun so she absorbed the material. Highly recommended this program!!

I like their focus on speaking and lessons are not boring. With a special needs student (autism, ADHD, dyslexia) they are kind and patient ❤️ and tailor the lesson and materials to the student needs.
