The light show in the snow was one of the most magical Christmas miracle type thing I've ever seen! It was absolutely amazing in the snow! Highly recommend! Very nice and helpful staff as well. Plenty of parking too.

This is one of my favorite places to visit in the suburbs. I come here every weekend to hike/walk/bike around. Having such a beautiful area like this is such a gem. I recently became a member and wish I had sooner! I also recently found out they offer cross country skiing and special days you can bring your pup!

Illumination at The Morton Arboretum has became a Family must for us. We love all the displays. They are well thought out and beautiful done. The hot cocoa & Cider with the s'more kits are the best. They all love making s'mores at the firepits. It's really great for all ages. Wheelchair and stroller accessible. If your family enjoys light shows they will love taking the walk through the Illumination 🖤

We were driving through the area and saw the big snail and had to stop! We were not disappointed. This trip we only had time to do the walking path around the visitor center and up to the snail, even that was gorgeous. We went in mid-November so the colors were all gone, but there were the light display up. We plan to comeback and enjoy the light display at night!

One of the most beautiful places to visit. They always have unique events, themes and activities throughout the year!!! You can walk numerous trails or take a picturesque drive in your car across the beautiful landscape.

Why did the illumination event and enjoyed it despite being bitterly cold when we went. The price I think is a little much but we paid $58 for two people, not sure what the $40 per person the other reviewer mentions. I think it's steep because they then try to gouge you with the drinks and snacks halfway through which most people want the hot beverages. They also offered a souvenir mug with a special drink for $15 but had no mugs so they were only taking $3 off which is crazy. When you get to the end, you can go to the visitor center where you can buy an illumination event mug.... which makes no sense. Take those mugs, put them in the event tent. Displays were nice, the interactive ones with buttons you hold and they change color, meh. Just have them change. The lights only go with the tempo of the music as opposed to actually being with the music itself. It was still interesting to see, but $30 per person is a little silly as you didn't get anything to say you were there other than pictures and videos.

I've been a member AMD have going here for yrs. I love all the events that they provide throughout the yr. I enjoy walking though the Arboretum it's so peaceful and enjoy finding the Artwork from different artists through out the years. Everyone who works there are so friendly and helpful. I recommend going if you enjoy nature. They have a cute area for kids and a hedge maze. I enjoy bringing family and friends from it of town here when they come to visit.
