A Unique Experience, But Not Quite for Me I finally had the opportunity to try Korean food—something that’s been on my food experience bucket list for a while. This particular spot is nestled away in Koreatown, and while the exterior doesn’t offer much in terms of ambiance, the inside is decent—not upscale, but definitely not a dive either. The overall food experience was okay—not bad, but also not exceptional. The standout dish for me was the teriyaki chicken, which was flavorful and well-prepared. One aspect that wasn’t quite to my liking was the self-cook element. I wasn’t expecting to have to cook the food myself, and personally, when I dine out, I prefer to be served rather than taking on part of the meal prep. That style of dining just isn’t my preference, and it took away from the overall enjoyment for me. All in all, I’m glad I tried it, but I don’t see myself returning to this particular restaurant. It wasn’t a bad experience by any means, just not the right fit for my dining style.
My review will be a little biased, but I’m mainly referencing one dish. Ganjang Gejang (Soy Marinated Crab). I came to this place only to try this dish because there aren’t too many places that sell this dish. The dish alone is great for those who haven’t tried it, like me at one point. The only down fall I’d say is that the quality of it changed as they used to use crab from Korea and started using blue crab (I believe) for it. The sauce is still really good, but the amount is still pretty small for the price you may pay for it (above $30). Overall I’d say this is for sure a must try if you never had it before but it does get pricey. This place also offers Korean BBQ and a lot of traditional Korean soups as well. The service is decent as it depends on how many people there may be. There is a lot of room to sit. If there is a lot of people, then the servers may get busy serving a bunch of other people.
I can honestly say that this is the BEST Korean BBQ in Las Vegas! I have tried many, living here in Vegas for 6+ years, and other Korean BBQ come up short. This restaurant checks ALL the blocks. Service (A+), Quality of food (A+), Atmosphere (A+). This is my at least 1 time a week restaurant to dine at! I highly recommend it to everyone.
After living in Korea for 3 years, we have been trying to find galbijim i think that's what it's called ever since. This was the BEST food we've had since living in Korea. The staff was so nice and friendly but the food was amazing
So off we were to Vegas via Phoenix for our family reunion. The first thing we did upon arriving was stopping in for a late lunch/early dinner at my namesake "Lee," lol Somehow my wife had won a free dinner & we were here to "cash" it in, all the way from Miami. I enjoyed the food compared to Miami Korean food. Service was great & I thought the meats & sides were good.
Reasonably priced for AYCE kbbq. We paid $31 a person for the B meal set. The meats were generally good but they lacked the variety in banchan of other Kbbq's. My low rateing main reason was service. We had to keep asking over and over for basics like napkins and refills of banchan. We have 6 people and had to continually ask for more kim che since it was served in a single small bowl. Some meats that were ordered were not brought out like they were throttling back on service. The place wasn't busy for a Tuesday. Would probably not recommend a revisit.
The meat was delicious and reasonably priced. However the green tea ice cream tasted like chemicals (sanitizer). Im assuming the sanitizing agent for the ice cream machine wasn’t properly cleared before ice cream was added. I let the waitress know and they apologized.
