Yim's Martial Arts

Sadly it turns out Master Yim has retired as of February 2023. I found out two days after he cleared the place out. Right when I finally spent a decade overcoming some unrelated injuries, enough to return. He is one of the best instructors out there. I hope my fellow students remember not only the technique, but more importantly his philosophy, and pass it on to future generations. If anyone knows his whereabouts, or remembers his lessons, or could recommend a similar experience, I'd be glad to get in touch. Pil seung!

Guys help I’m 15 and I wanna go here but I found that the instructor retired, who’s students go here to? This place really struck out to me.

I just want to say again,how much I love this dojo.Last night Grand Master Yim ,took every belt group one by one and demonstrated each new form even if there was only one kid in that group.He knows all the kids,knows each voice.Which kid said the mantra on the way in the door, and who did not.Mrs Yim also knows each kid and is always on the side cheering them on, helping kids put on gear, Watching trying to make sure their movment is correct.I never feel like my child is a number here.

My kid loves the classes! Mr. and Mrs. Yim are super nice, too.
