Portal Languages Mission Viejo / Laguna Niguel

My son started learning Japanese at Portal Languages with Midori Sensei in the fall of 2022. He was a total beginner and a high school sophomore at the time. He had a great time and moved through the material with such ease that my daughter started Spanish lessons with Ms. Grace as well. Thanks to their teachers' support and regular 1:1 classes, they are both progressing very well. Son just passed JLPT N5 with flying colors and will graduate with the California Seal of Biliteracy from high school. I am so happy we chose Portal Languages and their dedicated team to work with. 5 stars!

My son has taken Spanish lessons with Ms. Grace over the past year. He loves the class! Grace is very friendly and always makes learning fun and interesting. My son started at a beginner level and I’m very happy with how much he has improved. During class, they play games, do activities and have conversations- all in Spanish! I love that the approach to language learning is natural and relaxed. I highly recommend Portal to anyone looking to learn a foreign language.

We love Portal Languages Mission Viejo!! My children are ages 13, 12, and 10, and they loved Miss Grace. She really knows how to work well with kids and to make the classes fun and exciting. The class sizes are very small which allows for lots of dialogue between the teacher and kids, which really solidifies the language learning. She really goes out of her way to make classes fun with reading, writing, videos, great conversation, games, and even cooking! We would highly recommend Portal Languages to anyone interested in learning a second language!

I have been studying Spanish at Portal Languages for a couple of years now. I was already at an advanced level when I started, and attending on a regular basis has helped me not only keep up with my Spanish, but take it to a higher level. I take mainly conversation classes with Grace, and I love the flexibility and small class size. As a teacher, Grace is friendly and personable, and makes the classes lively and interesting. No dull, dry lessons here. I truly enjoy studying at Portal Languages.

Portal Languages is great for adults too. All of their teachers are patient and helpful. Grace is the best. I’ve made a lot of progress in Spanish thanks to Portal!

So glad we found Portal Languages..Ms Grace is so good at what she does..makes learning fun and both of my kids love learning Spanish with her. The lessons are fun and light hearted but informative and the songs get stuck in my kids heads all week. Thank you Ms Grace!!!

Ms Grace is awesome . My 5 year old daughter has been learning Spanish with her for over 2 years now , and she absolutely loves her . Highly recommend her and this business .
