Team Cho is excellent for children and adults! The taekwondo classes for children are fun, engaging, and educational. Mr. Cho clearly has a background teaching children, I think he mentioned he has over a decade of experience with teaching children martial arts. As an adult, Charles will provide you a welcoming environment for beginner and intermediate kickboxers as well as advanced coaching for kicking techniques. Further more, the open matts on Fridays are super fun and if you want lighter rounds or harder rounds they’re more than willing to accommodate. Definitely worth checking out! Team Cho Taekwondo Academy went above and beyond for our school! When the Korean School of Greater Hartford urgently needed a space to continue our Korean language classes, Team Cho generously opened their studio to us. Their support allowed our students to learn without disruption and made our families feel genuinely welcomed. We are honored to continue this partnership as Team Cho joins us this spring to offer Taekwondo cultural sessions. Mr. Cho is an excellent young man who’s created an engaging environment for young martial arts. I haven’t seen any of the adult classes but my son says they’re spar, drill, and exercise. This is a great gym for fitness and striking!

Team Cho Taekwondo Academy is an awesome place to train, make friends, and learn. The academy is really clean, and Charles is an excellent instructor. I went in with no prior martial arts experience, and he helped me feel comfortable and helped me develop a love for the sport. He does a great job working with each of us and he truly cares for each of his students. I have no doubt that my progression speed was doubled through Charles guidance.

Mr. Cho welcomed me into a very comfortable environment, in which I was able to learn a lot from a very experienced trainer. The classes as well as sparring opportunities offer a lot of room for growth and improvement. I have, and will continue to recommend all my friends and family to Team Cho Academy!

Last weekend, I had my son’s 5th birthday party here. Mr.Cho is an amazing instructor and my son had an awesome time! So did all of his friends. Mr.Cho is extremely kind, energetic and positive. He's great at keeping the children engaged and focused. The assistant instructor Mr.Rob was great as well! I got lots of compliments throughout the party from the other parents about how great of an instructor he was and how impressed they were with the class. He provided a piñata, candy, and pizza. The kids were given a Taekwondo lesson, completed an obstacle course, played games, and got to break boards using the punching/kicking skills they learned, which they got to keep after. He also helped us set up, clean, and bring stuff out to the car afterward. We will definitely be returning!
