My daughter began her journey with this incredible karate school during their summer camp in June 2024. What started as a fun summer activity quickly turned into a passion, thanks to the instructors who immediately recognized her focus, enthusiasm, and natural curiosity for martial arts. Since then, she’s grown tremendously; not just in her physical skills and technique, but in her confidence, discipline, and respect for others. The school’s emphasis on character development is just as strong as its commitment to martial arts excellence. She’s learned how to set goals, support her peers, and carry herself with integrity both on and off the mat. Most recently, she was invited to join their Black Belt Club, a milestone that reflects her dedication and the school’s belief in her potential. Watching her thrive in this environment has been one of the most rewarding experiences as a parent. I’m deeply grateful for the positive impact this school has had on her life. I started 6 months ago at the IMAA, and it has been a great journey and experience for me, thanks to Sensei Ruocco, Sensei Herold, Sensei Joe, Sempai Michael, Sensei Henry and coach Kevin. I've improved body, mind and soul, and the journey doesn't stop there, have to keep motivated and dedicated to achieve your highest goals and then some. Everyone is friendly, outgoing, family oriented they are always there for you. We strive for perfection one day at a time so you can be and reach to your best self.

My daughter Makayla absolutely loves training at IMAA! The coaches are not only highly skilled but also incredibly patient and encouraging. They’ve helped her grow so much. Not just in martial arts, but in confidence, focus, and discipline in school and elsewhere. The environment is positive, respectful, and truly feels like a family. One of the highlights for us and her was the bullying seminar! It really empowered her and gave her practical tools to stand up for herself and others. The lessons she’s learned there go far beyond the mat. We’ve noticed how much stronger and more motivated she’s become. She looks forward to every class and always leaves happy. I’m so grateful for the dedication the instructors put into every student’s development. I first came to the Dojo in 2014! I was so nervous as my family had just moved to South Florida. The IMAA Team was so inviting and throughout the years I have made so many friends and cherished memories at the Dojo. I think of the IMAA Team as a second family and have learned so many valuable lessons over the years. I even wrote my college essay about my time in the IMAA Team and how those experiences shaped who I am today! It's never too late to join! The instructors at IMAA are truly personable and the environment is so welcoming!

Coach Mike Dwyer is a wonderful instructor and a wonderful person. He is extremely knowledgeable on techniques and the principles behind them. He is very supportive and able to push me and the other students to give the best during each class. I consider myself lucky of being one of his students.
