I’ve been taking lessons with Rodney for a couple of months and I’m thrilled with my progress! They make learning Spanish clear, engaging, and enjoyable. Each lesson is well-structured and tailored to my pace and learning style. I feel more confident speaking, reading, and understanding Spanish every day. Rodney is an amazing Spanish tutor! His lessons are very clear, thorough, and engaging. I like that he incorporates some humor into the learning and the lessons. 😊 We meet in-person on a weekly basis -- lessons often include an audio component (listening to and interpreting songs, radio spots, discussions, etc.). Homework is assigned to help reinforce the lesson of the week, and the homework incorporates information learned in previous sessions. The Spanish-English Language Exchange hosts a weekly gathering, affording students the opportunity to practice Spanish and engage with other students. Rodney has a deep passion for helping his students to learn Spanish....Thank you, Rodney!! Now, I am more confident to speak/understand Spanish here in the U.S. and when traveling around the globe!

I have not done a tutoring session but attended one of the language exchanges with Rodney and it was such a fun and engaging event. I recommend it to anyone looking to practice Spanish. They will speak English first and then switch to Spanish. You don't need to be an advanced student, just don't be shy and try and have a conversation. You will always learn new words and expressions! Great opportunity to make new friends.

Attended this group, and even at a beginner level was welcomed by all! Was limited on my participation during the Spanish segment due too not speaking much Spanish yet.But was still included and learned from the others talking! Everybody is very understanding and no negative judgment; just encouragement too progress! I will be attending more!
