Oakland Community College - Orchard Ridge Campus

This is a decent campus, but far less nice than the Auburn Hills campus. Everything feels older, like it needs to be renovated. It always feels like theres construction going on or something too. There was a period of time where the student center got removed and became a place for the construction workers to hang out. That was kinda wild. The cafeteria and library are my favorite spots, and are really nice but the rest of the buildings feel warn down and dated. Most classes I've taken here have been pretty good, and I have had amazing professors. The lake is beautiful and I love to go on walks. Overall it's got a lot of great things, but is not one of the nicer facilities.

Wow. After reading these comments, I now fully understand why my daughter was unable to attend her first semester of college. It appears the financial aid department is consistently failing students across the board. These young adults need help and guidance — many of them are first-time college students who have never gone through this process before. Yet they are treated as if they should already know everything and navigate the system with no support. It’s unacceptable. My daughter’s experience with the financial aid department was also extremely disappointing. The lack of communication, clarity, and support was disheartening, and it ultimately affected her ability to start school. After reading through these reviews, I am seriously considering having my daughter apply elsewhere. No student should have to fight this hard just to get started on their

Captured this beautiful Orchard Ridge Campus while walking to the class. Summers are beautiful, Fall is spectacular and winters are heavenly (provided you are inside the building🥶)I spent two years learning Computer Science and Mathematics here. Faculty members are extremely knowledgeable and kind.

Love Mr. Tupper he's the best geology professor, all of the earth science professors are great.

Got a couple associate degrees here. Very happy I came here as it allowed me to get into my dream university at The University of Michigan where I am currently advancing my education. Great professors here and honestly would even love to teach here one day 🙂

Good for a community college. Photo department enjoys over editing the professor likes you to ruin your photos and is stuck up. Graphic design department rocks because of Peter Schade. English classes way hard for that type of school the older lady who teaches had you real and whole tree of old stories with barely any content. Cheap option to get up on your credits. Website sucks.

Good student environment but never have had such a terrible, condescending, cold hearted professor. Michelle dudgeon embarrassed me in front of my peers and made me cry. I’m now graduated and in the interior design business and have met so many people with the same horrible experience with that professor. And I wish everyone the best if they get her as their professor.
