The aquatics schedule isn’t reflected accurately in the app. The updated schedule is a printout that has to be retrieved from the front desk. For those that work during the day, swimming after work is very limited because the swim team takes up the lanes from 6-8 on most days. The pool availability on the weekend is also very limited. When it’s open on Saturday, it closes at 12.

The pool is almost always unavailable. During lap/open swim, swim teams monopolize the lanes during the evening. The aquatics schedule is not updated in the app. To get the latest aquatics schedule, you’ll have to pick up a hard copy of the schedule from the front desk, which is only scheduled for a week. The weekend pool is almost nonexistent. It just opened on a Saturday on 1/31/26 and only was open until 12 PM. The thermal pool was scheduled to be open but didn’t. I was told that was because two lifeguards called out. The hot water in the ladies’ locker room doesn’t get hot.

We come here biweekly for our karate classes (highly recommend btw) and this place is really nice! The pools are nice and good, while to gym is wonderful too. The summer camps are also really fun, with a lot of field trips and activities. The activity rooms are very nice, both a and b. One complaint is that the gym has no air conditioning, and gets unbearably hot during the summer. But otherwise a very good fitness centre.

I was in town for work and stopped in using my nationwide membership. They were very friendly and welcoming. I was set up so I could scan myself in, in the morning. The weight room was great and very nice locker rooms.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I toured the Farmington Hills YMCA today with Bree, and she was absolutely wonderful! She was very informative, professional, and had so much great energy—especially for early in the morning. I really appreciated her enthusiasm and knowledge. Because of her, I’m strongly considering signing up at this YMCA location. Thank you so much, Bree, for making my experience so positive!

I switched from the Boll Y downtown bc zero to poor parking there n also there’s no Hadicapp Spots at all many times I would spend 30 min driving around looking for a parking spot it’s awful !!!

Its a safe yet state of the art place for families to to be ale to go together and each member can do their own thing. timing flexibility is very good and the staff right from the exe director to the cleaning lady are very welcoming an give you personal attention and caring which make you feel like you are among friends. I have been a member for 30+ years and still happy to go there everyday. Everyone will find something that suits their needs.
