I liked a lot. The kids loved it. Local history to share with kids and myself. Learned a lot about B&O Railroad. The kids had good questions and comments. The tour guide was excellent with knowledge and patience. We didn't have a tour reservation but we listened in👌🏿They book up quickly, so check into reservations if you want more history. *Just remember the contributions black Americans, and other minorities had on American history. I like to see more illustration of these facts. This location is free in Ellicott City. They have a donation box to give if you want. The Baltimore location has an entry fee, check before u go. The membership is a good price for 1-year.

Great free museum! You can make it as long or short as you want. It’s a self guided tour of what it would have been like in its time. The storehouse was the best. My toddler loved the train setup and could watch it for hours. It gave us time to watch the movie and rest. The red caboose was beautifully restored and able for the kids to climb in and see what it was like. What a great place to visit. We loved it.

Admission is free but I'd pay to go. A very nice place with a plentiful variety of artifacts. The rail next to the station is even still in use and I had the luxury of viewing it as the train passed through. Would recommend.

Free Admission/Great Hours of Operations. Awesome museum with just the eight amount of history without being overwhelmed. Highly recommend and will be back for certain! 5 Star

Great free museum! It's not too big but they have a lot of history on display. The model train room of the old Ellicott City to Baltimore line was very cool and in surprisingly good condition for being 50 years old. The kids also loved climbing inside the caboose on site, which thankfully has air conditioning so it's not too hot inside on a summer day.

It was fun to find out the history of the famous B&O railway! I never realized that everything in Monopoly is based on real places! The model trains were amazing, and the station and historic caboose were interesting to see and learn about. We just stumbled on this and it was a treasure to discover!

Wonderful way to spend an hour or so with any age group. One set of steep stairs to be mindful of. A cute, almost whimsical step back in time. Just enough history and fun for even the young ones.
