Kinokuniya Bookstore - New Jersey

This was my first visit, and I was specifically looking for a store that carried fountain pens. I happened to come across this location and was pleasantly surprised. They offer a solid selection of well-known fountain pen brands, along with fountain pen inks, cartridges, and other writing instruments. The variety and quality of products made for a positive experience. I would confidently recommend this store to anyone interested in fine writing tools.

It's great! Brought my family and we really liked it. It's not as large as the one in Manhattan but if north NJ is easier to travel to, it's a great spot for plenty of manga, various books, magazines, stationary, Gundam model kits, etc.

A great selection of English and Japanese manga and light novels. Great atmosphere and the staff is very polite. Prices are in pay with what you might expect, but you can easily spend 100 on a few books, is you're not careful. Overall, it's a great place to shop for manga.

What a lovely store! Everything is amazing and darling! The staff is so helpful. The stationary finds are perfect. Hobonichi supplies & Travelers are truly wonderful! The pricing is very good. Pens galore! I cannot wait to visit again!

Kinokuniya New Jersey is one of my favorite places to shop. The employees are genuinely kind and always ready to help — they even guided me to the exact items I was looking for. They have a membership program that gives you great benefits, and it’s perfect for anyone who loves Japanese products. The store is beautifully organized and has a huge selection of Japanese books, magazines, stationery, art supplies, snacks, and cute gift items. I always end up finding something special whenever I visit. Absolutely recommend stopping by!

10/10, great selection of anime figures. Also, this store had mystery boxes that are still not yet officially released in the USA. Not overpriced like in NYC. Nice and patient staff. If you’re purchasing at least $250, it’s worth it to get the yearly membership for $25, for 10% discount. Sometimes, randomly there would be members week which then gives all members a 20% discount. This is insane value.
