BBiBBi – Bubble Tea & Cup Bop

i went in 30 minutes before close (i admit, that’s kinda cutting it, but the boba craving was big) the girl took my friends order, made his drink and then walked away while i just stood there at the order place. she stared me in the eyes and ignored me. i’m hurt but luckily Taiyaki Sweets just a block away is open later and tasted much better

Popped into this place across the street from UNT on a whim. First time boba drinker, and the staff was nice to answer my questions. Ordered a banana milk tea and custard taiyaki. The tea was great tasting with 50% sugar and the custard filling in the taiyaki was good. The shop was also nice and cold, great on a hot day. I'd point out that the music was a little loud but I'll go back to try a taro milk tea.

Super cute tea shop! My son and I are boba tea fanatics and we have had boba tea all over this great country and we feel that bbibbi is top tier! The food is so yummy and the creative tea combos and flavors are well made and served by the sweetest staff! 10/10 would recommend!

I suggest going to the shop next door to ibaco for boba cause it’s practically the same and much cheaper. At Bbibbi, you have to pay extra for a basic ingredients in the drink like milk. So it’s advertised as $5, but when you order, it’s more like $9. The workers seem busy with each other but the shop itself is cute with single seats mostly by the windows.

The white girl at the counter was very rude and off putting to my gf and I. I was waiting in line to order on the touchscreen and hadn’t seen any employees yet and needed to go to the bathroom. The employee walked to the front and I asked for the bathroom code and she told me it was for customers only. I was actively waiting in line by the way. I told her I was waiting to order and had to go and she said I couldn’t unless I bought something. MIND YOU- I was in line at the kiosk to get my drink. So I was like okay well can I order with you and she was annoyed by that. I placed my order and paid and asked for the bathroom code and she gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes and handed it over. Terrible customer service. Very rude girl. Her coworker in the back was even giving her side eye I swear.

To start off, the drink that I got was a black sugar boba, it was good, but definitely overpriced. They charge you for milk, even though the drink should automatically come with that already. Any add ins, including boba, is an extra dollar. The lady that was at the front when I walked in was very unfriendly and doesn’t seem to have good customer service, she’s the older one it seems. When I tried ordering at the counter while she was standing in front of it, she immediately told me to order at the kiosk, she was just standing there. I’ve ordered before at the counter with a younger worker, and she took it no problem. Overall drinks are good but overpriced, and the service varies.

The black sugar boba was really good! The food on the other hand was disgusting. The rice was wet and tasted artificial like rubber and the noodles were equally tasteless. There’s no actual sauce for anything in the bowl, they literally sprinkled one long string of hot sauce all over the noodle, veggies, chicken, and rice. That’s not how you add flavoring to food. In the end I had to throw the bowl out. The KFC chicken in the bowl was decent, however it was very small portions. it came with 4 full small pieces of chicken, the other two were too burnt or small to eat. The chicken also came with NO sauce whatsoever even though at the cashier I was prompted to pick two sauces. I’ve attached a photo see for yourself. Getting a bowl was a complete waste of money, don’t let the pictures fool you- DO NOT GET THEIR BOWLS.
