Champaign School of Music

We are having a wonderful experience! The staff has been reliable and accommodating when it comes to scheduling. My daughters instructor, Morgan, is a gem. She has lots of experience teaching littles and it shows! She is warm and friendly, and has worked so well with my daughters shyness. Highly recommend!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our daughter loves going to her lesson, and Miss Morgan has helped her hone both her piano and vocal skills. 2 recitals a year and other opportunities have really fostered her confidence and performance skills.

I've been taking piano classes with Kassandra for a couple of months. Before my first trial lesson, I wasn't even sure I wanted to learn piano. I found Kassandra's approach, methodical and thorough, but warm and flexible, highly conducive for learning. If you're on the fence about learning an instrument later in life, I'd highly recommend doing a free trial class at Champaign School of Music.

My 9 year old has been going to Champaign School of Music for months now. It's a supportive environment, welcoming, and great for all ages. Everyone there is pleasant, punctual, patient. Great teachers with good resources.

We started with Music Together here when my daughter was a toddler and are still going strong with piano lessons now that she's older. I truly cannot say enough about how what a great partner Mr. Bill has been in encouraging her love of music--he's fantastic at meeting kids where they are and thinking of creative ways to engage their interest, and has all the patience, enthusiasm and kindness that make for one amazing teacher. We're really grateful both for him and for the School of Music!

My son takes drum lessons from Red and really enjoys his lessons. Previously he had been taking piano lessons with 2 other teachers and we also had good experiences with them. All of the teachers have been kind and patient, and even though my son is very shy, the teachers have helped him at recitals so that he was willing to participate even though he was very scared. He is definitely learning a lot and enjoys exploring reading music and learning different instruments.

Our grandson has taken guitar and bass lessons from Champaign School of Music for almost 2 years now and we are amazed at his progress. He now has 2 lessons a week, one with Red and one with Bill. Both are excellent teachers. They have different teaching styles, which reflect their strengths. Most importantly, our grandson enjoys his lessons and looks forward to them.
