Parkland College

This school refuses to respond or reach back out to my inquiries of the government funded SWFT program. I left messages, sent emails, and submitted a contact request form with Parkland as a whole. Gatekeeping government funded programs is a very pathetic form of discrimination.

I attended the institute of aviation here and have nothing but praise to give to the instructors and staff. The cost of part 141 schooling is nothing for the value that their curriculum and fleet have to offer.

My instructor was Curtis Marshall and I was taking physics mechanics with him. I ended with a B because he kindly decided to take additional time to grade a lab I turned in in the wrong place. He did not have to but I'm glad he did. This was literally the night before he finalized grades too. I can't say he would do this for all students but I wasn't particularly close with him which I think again shows the type of instructor/person he is. I hope somehow he reads this I hope to be a professor like him one day. I also had Joyce Zimmerman for linear algebra. I suggest finding another instructor.

Received and obtained my associates degree here. After completing majority of my prerequisites online at another establishment, I decided to enroll full-time and in person. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I had wonderful professors. The advisors were very helpful when it came to picking out classes and building a schedule. The online tools were very user friendly as well, easily allowing me to navigate through the domain.

I used to attend Parkland and the staff never seemed aligned. You have to jump through hoops when applying, signing up for classes is a complete hassle. Now they are trying to make me come in person for a simple transcript. I've been told multiple things by different staff members and given the run around. I would recommend a different institution.

Such an amazing school! I've been attending the Weekend Land Surveying Program, which is led by Dr. Kory Allred, PhD PLS EI, who serves as the program director and lead instructor. Dr. Allred is deeply involved in the professional land surveying society and brings an abundance of passion and knowledge to share with students. I highly recommend this college and its fantastic instructors. The program offers a wealth of real-life experience and is equipped with up-to-date tools. Instructors James Harpole and Schuyler Sears have been exceptionally helpful and bring a high level of passion to their teaching. They provide great real-life examples that enrich the learning experience. These mentors are not only motivated but also highly knowledgeable. I wholeheartedly recommend this program for anyone seeking knowledge and licensure, as it's designed to meet the standards set by NCEES. A fantastic opportunity for growth and education!

Staff is very friendly and thorough. Dr's on site to check the students work that they're doing before they move on to their next step on what they're doing. I was very impressed with the dental that the students do here and it's very nice and clean inside. Going back to my next appointment Monday.
