Rockhold Karate

We signed up our daughter who became interested in karate and we couldn’t be more pleased with Rockhold Karate! We’ve seen her practice at home on her own without being asked and her confidence grow in just a couple of months. We’re so happy to have found the right place for our daughter.

My 8 our old daughter has been attending the Homeschool Archery class with no prior experience. I love this place and how patient the owner is. We decided after several months to buy her a bow and arrow. Coach Rockhold let me buy the one she started using from the beginning. Every Monday, my daughter is dressed early and excited to attend. Worth every penny!

Rockhold Karate is a great studio. He is wonderful with the kids and I have seen so much growth in my son's confidence since coming here. He offers a great price and many different evening classes to attend. Mixed classes between kids and teens or kids/teens/adults. Attendance is not limited like other places so we can really get some training in during the week and those breaks from school. He also holds special events randomly through the month like Lightsaber class and glow in the dark sparing. If you're looking for a karate class you won't regret choosing Mr. Rockhold. He has been around for a long time and is very experienced.

My 8 year old daughter has been coming here for the past few years, she really has enjoyed learning Karate. Mr. Rockhold has a perfect way of teaching the very little ones by making the classes fun and interesting and also enforcing discipline at the same time. She is now in the older classes and she still enjoys it. The place is kept extremely clean and he has lots of time options that work with out schedules. I would highly recommend this place to any parents looking to enroll their kids in a karate class.

I was blessed to have trained at one of the premier Tae Kwon Do schools in Ohio, IJ Kim Martial Arts so it was easy for me to recognize the superior level of instruction that Master Rockhold offers. He has exceptional skills & a rare ability to intuitively know how to communicate the intricacies of the art in a manner you can understand & execute. The environment that Master Rockhold has created by caring for his students is very supportive with everyone helping one another improve. He is hands on, present at every class & working with each & every student. Traditional martial arts school teaching discipline, real self defense & confidence for his students.....I highly recommend this school. You will not be disappointed.

We are so happy to have found Rockhold Karate. Chris Rockhold is an excellent instructor. He is patient and encouraging and also has a great sense of humor. The classes are small and students have plenty of time and room to work. Our granddaughter has gained so much confidence working with him.

My boys and I recently joined Rockhold Karate, and it might be the best thing any of us have done in quite some time. Everyone, whether kids or adults, are very respectful and encouraging, and this clearly comes from the top down. The owner and instructor, Chris, has fostered a fantastic environment for practicing and learning where those with advanced experience help bring up those with less. Chris has achieved the right balance in challenging students (adults and kids) to focus and grow in discipline, yet also with patience, kindness, and a good deal of laid-back humor. I can't recommend this place enough. Additionally, it should be noted that the legit collection of Lego Star Was ships in the office really ties the place together.
