Flagler Schools

**In response to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA)'s warning of food insecurity in Gaza, Fine responded with "who cares?"** This is the kind of person we want to bring into our schools? With no notice? What is the educational purpose? Were parents made aware? Isn't FL the state where parents have a say in every single thing that happens in our schools? If you are hateful enough you can just force down any door, I guess. Ignorance is now celebrated. Disappointed in our district leadership for allowing this and then posting it like it was a good thing all over the internet. Shameful.

Disappointed that a surprise visit from a politician who has not supported educators was permitted. Was there an opportunity for staff to share urgent needs—like salary adjustments, given that Florida pays classified and certificated staff about 50% less than some other states? Were book bans or the congressman’s recent vile comments addressed?

I know there's a place for safety and everything, but is it necessary for your school bus drivers to go like 10 miles under the speed limit when the speed limit is 50mph and they're not making any stops?

My sons have been students at Rymfire Elementary School for seven years now (K-6 for my oldest). Over the years they have both faced learning challenges. I have been so appreciative of the assistance we have received from the teachers. Also the intervention teachers. When we go by the school, we regularly see teachers there after hours still putting in time for their classes. I am glad my kids go to a school where there is such dedication.
