Do anything you can to avoid having to go through here. I have been assisting a community member with needed care and this office treated them soo disrespectfully. They legitimately hate their clientele, are tone deaf, and don’t listen to help - just to argue and condescend, which is honestly the last thing anyone in need needs, but especially our Elderly community members. You can’t help anyone if you won’t even listen to them, which is communication 101. I have no idea why these women go into this field when they have a visceral hatred towards low income and differently abled community members.

Apparently, the service is far too charitable to answer or return a phone inquiry for donation purposes!

I reached out to the Catholic Charities organization in Sept 2022 when they finally returned my call I received a letter to take to housing court. Then another letter Dec 2022 to take to housing court again then in March 2023 I was finally assigned a case worker who then gave me another letter to take to housing court for May 2023 after 8 months of filling out the paperwork, emailing pay stubs, etc on April 12, 2023, my case manager told me I need to reach out to HRA one shot deal for assistance. I have to wait 45 days for the HRA decision then if they deny me and give me a letter. I then come back to this organization for assistance to wait another 45 days for assistance. Why wasn't I told this 8 months ago it's truly a shame how you reach out to this organization to get assistance and all you get is the runaround. Who does this organization help?? Thanks a lot for wasting my time

Employees in this institution treat those who come to their aid in a contemptuous manner. They act like they are spending money out of their own pockets. The reality is that they use the money collected from the city foundation and its donors primarily to pay their own salaries. The only concern of the people working here is to finish their job and get their salary, the rest is not essential. In addition, the fact that this office receives many stars is due to the appreciation of the employees working here.
