Truly kind, patient, and creative people who met us where were in a mid-year school refusal situation. Their care for my son was apparent, even when tricky situations arose. Were clear and flexible about payment and other logistics. Fantastic and creative field trips, too. Thanks, Noah and staff.

First, the staff makes this place shine. Noah is super respectful and in sync with the children. Noah let’s children be children with a kind and gentle approach. This place allows children to flourish providing a lot of time for un-structured activities. Kids have an ability to direct their own play, choose activities of their choice. Kids have a chance to work with real tools to build things they want in the shop, cook and bake in a full scale kitchen, play in a play room, create art or just lounge around. Indoor activities are complimented by plentiful outdoors time. My son loves it there and I am happy for him.

I have sent my son here for a year now it is such a crucial part of our homeschooling journey. Noah, Lyman, and all the other adults are wonderfully energetic and engaging and truly appreciate the kids for who they are. My son is able to play without being forced to "learn" and is also exposed to so many wonderful concepts, places, and people. We love BAA!

My girls went here and loved it. It's a great place for homeschool kids to go 1 or more times per week. Noah, the main teacher/founder is great and inspires the kids on so many levels. The kids spend tons of time exploring the park and go on awesome field trips all over NYC. They do creative projects, put on shows, learn woodworking, puppetry, writing, cooking... the list goes on and on.

My son attended Apple academy for 3 years after having a difficult time at our local public school. Apple Academy feels like family. It was hands down the most wonderful experience. The teachers are dedicated to each students success in whatever shape that takes. I highly recommend

Incredible school! My son loves it there. Can't wait until my younger one is old enough to attend as well. Noah is incredibly patient and does so much great stuff with the kids.
