City of Avondale

The only thing I would approve on in this whole community of Tollson all the way down to the Raceway. I would put up more places for Veterans who are homeless a place to go to other than back to people, places, and things, that we are trying to get away from or to stay away from. With the recourses as they are now I am always given the same information many times over and they are not what I am needing. There needs to be a VA clinic close by, with pharmacy, transportation with or without an appointment, a few more houses or businesses, turned into temporary VA shelters, for a hot meal, shelter, shower, id, and just some basic stuff that a veteran who lives out in the country. I don't plan on staying homeless for much longer I just have to wait for things to fall in to place at the right place and time. I am not gonna be living under this bridge for too much longer than I need to. I would like to say thanks to the surrounding area of this whole community. I know I am different and a bit weird but that's okay I'm fine with that it's kinda my thing. Thank y'all for being so generous of you time and patience to me, and all I ask in return is y'all's prayers. Blessed It Be Let It Be So...

Got here for my passport appointment and had to wait beyond my appointment time. Its 15 minutes pass. What's the point of making appointments if they are not kept???

I’m sorry to say this about Avondale the city in general it is not a great place to live in. I wish I never moved here in the first place. The loose polices they have in regards to everything is bad. I live in a HOA area and honestly the HOA don’t do nothing about dogs being lose and attacking people and the city don’t even care either their basically saying that’s not important unless the actual dog is basically mauling someone. There is so many things that I just don’t want to keep going hopefully I can move out of here asap it’s not safe here in this city.

Went here to apply for my passport and the prices was quick and easy. The lady who helped us was great! 😃

I've never had to use the services here but my family has, but it's a scenic place to come visit, walk around, or attend city events. Sometimes they do community movie showings and other recreational activities aimed at families.

You guys are great people-the best of the best! Thank you for making Avondale great!
