Speak Bilingual Language Institute, Foreign Language School

I can't say enough to praise the quality of instruction I've received through Speak Bilingual. In over a year of weekly Zoom classes with Minoo Badieey, my ease and confidence in reading, writing, and conversing in Farsi has grown by leaps and bounds thanks to her patient, thorough teaching style that emphasizes discussing current events, vocabulary acquisition and etymology, and gaining an ever-deepening context and understanding of Iranian culture, past and present. The teachers at Speak Bilingual meet students where they are to acheive their language goals, no matter the skill level.

Excellent teaching. Unique and effective methodology. Caring, patient, native speakers for language instructors. My experience with Speak Bilingual was at a university level for Farsi. Each class, they came up with new material that pertained to current events or useful real-world topics we would actually use. Class was always dynamic. I was impressed how they could manage having students at somewhat varying levels in the same class. They really tailored their instruction to each students’ needs. They forced us out of our comfort zones and challenged us. The entire class was always very engaged and interactive. They had us conversing, explaining, defending, paraphrasing, etc. right from the start in the language. I did very well on language proficiency exams after studying with Speak Bilingual. I highly recommend them.

Speak bilingual was great! I am a teacher myself and thus feel qualified to say that they have excellent instructors who are enthusiastic and really love teaching. I received a lot of individual one-on-one feedback and coaching while learning a new language which was really helpful to improve my skills. The online delivery method was so convenient and gave me the flexibility to schedule classes while working. If you want to up your speaking and comprehension levels, try them out. I highly recommend their program.

Speak Bilingual is a wonderful language program with gifted teachers who know how to tailor material to a student's needs and abilities. I've been taking Farsi classes since March and have loved my weekly classes. Though it's my first language, growing up in the US English quickly became dominate. I've grown to be embarrassed by my accent and diminishing skill. Though, thanks to my wonderful teacher, Minoo, I'm gaining experience in my heritage language, including grammar, culture, current events, and day-to-day life. It has been an amazing, all-encompassing experience. I highly recommend for any level, from beginner to advanced.

Finally I found a place to learn Persian/Farsi by professional native speakers. Their methodology and class sessions are totally different from other schools. I had already taken some courses in other places but when I came to Speak Bilingual, I found them above and beyond my expectations, and in a native-like environment. I could start speaking and reading from the very beginning. They know their job very well and care about you. Highly recommended!

Speak Bilingual provided excellent instruction that was customized to my level and abilities. For me, their strongest asset is incorporating cultural and historical elements into their methodology that makes for a very comprehensive and enjoyable experience. I'd recommend Speak Bilingual to anyone looking to brush up on their existing language skills or embarking on a totally new language!

I highly recommend this place if you want to immerse yourself in the language. I took a course to improve my Arabic and I am very satisfied with my progress. My instructor was always available when I had questions. The courses are not only engaging and informative, but you also get to learn about the rich Arabic culture! Definitely worth the money and time 🙂
