The Sweet Cup Desserts Boba Coffee

This is my favorite sweet treat place in Albuquerque! I have tried a lot of different drinks and desserts and haven't came across one I didn't like. The staff is always so friendly and answers any questions we had. They also had a great teacher discount for my friend who works for the schools. Totally recommend!

I hate to be that "woke" person but I feel like this whole place just got more corporate. The new lobby is weird. It doesn't feel the same as it used to. I always get my usual matcha milk tea with extra boba. This time it was just straight water with green food coloring. The last time I was there they ran out of boba. I guess I understand but...it's a boba place..? When I was almost done with my drink I just got straight matcha powder. Honestly it was terrible. There were two girls there and it seemed like they weren't doing their job good. I don't mean to be so rude but I just can't stand to see my favorite local places go corporate. Definitely branching out more!

Have passed by this place a few times heading to work and finally decided to try it out. Just the cool and laid back vibes you get from the interior set is awesome. There are lots of unique and fun seating areas (perfect for taking cute instagram photos) and lots of natural lighting from the huge windows. They have a pretty extensive menu but they also do sell a wide array of items so its' expected. The check out girl was super sweet and the manager even came out to greet me as well. I got a Thai tea with boba and it was excellent. I also tried the strawberry cake and that was also really good too! Awesome place to gather and do study groups.

I hate to be that person but the customer service was really really bad when I went. I went with my friend and the cashier girl was a bit rude at first. Then my friend didn’t tip and the cashier’s attitude got even worse. It’s such a shame, I mean if i had paid I would’ve tipped but my friend paid and not me. But when I was waiting for my drink the cashier was so much nicer to the other customer and was even more nicer after they tipped. I understand tipping culture but you should not be rude just because someone doesn’t tip you. You shouldn’t expect a tip from everyone and you should give everyone the same kind of customer service regardless.

It was my daughters first time and they absolutely loved it!! Each of us ordered a variety from the drink options, each were unique and very delicious in their own way. With the drinks, we also ordered some of their macaroons which are absolutely amazing with the not only the taste but the designs on each one. We hope to come again and explore more of what they are able to offer. Great customer service and excellent products💞💞

Even though this place is mostly known for its great boba, it has the best gelato I have had so far in Albuquerque. The Sweet Cup also has a great atmosphere for studying/working, the designers definitely had the working people in mind when creating this functional space. *Overall Results* -8.5/10 for good vibes -8/10 for good drinks -9/10 for customer service -8/10 for aesthetic -6.5/10 for money value Price Level: $$

Love coming here!! The atmospheres amazing I’ve spent hours here with friends. The food and drinks are great too but I always feel sick after probably from too much sugar. It’s a great place to come to!
